Has he had a 2nd opinion? It’s easy to misdiagnose these symptoms. At this time you can only treat the symptoms and there are some medications. Are you in the US? There are ALS Centers with a multi-disciplinary approach to care. I suggest you contact the ALS Organization: www.als.org/
