I totally understand the nervousness of teaching with eyes staring at you, waiting. Even after 8 years of teaching art, that never went away for me. My heart would beat faster and I'd have to take some deep breaths every time a new group of kids came into art class. I got better at faking it each year, but boy was that challenging. I think it gets better the more planned, prepared, and practiced you are with the class.
