- Greer Amps Southland Harmonic Overdrive Pedal Demo
Hey Guy's
Do you love pedals? More specifically do love overdrive pedals?
If you're anything like me that's a BIG YES!
I have a bunch of different Overdrive pedals, but today I wanted to share with you one of my favourites of all time, the Greer Amps Southland Harmonic Overdrive.
This pedal is just absolutely awesome, whether you're using it as a clean boost or cranking that drive control up, it just sounds sweet whereever you put that dial.
This is my own personal pedal and I just wanted to share how good it is with you guys.
Hope you enjoyed the demo!
Cheers Lee.

This is my favorite pedal ever. The best medium gain classic rock crunch tone out there. I have a Lightspeed too, which I love, an Angry Charlie and an F56 for that tweed sound and two fuzzes. But this sweet pedal is the ONE, even in a great lineup.
Might be the best demo of this pedal. I've watched most of the go to demo guys and decidedto Check this out randomly, ive already ordered it however this demo made me feel even better about my choice. Thanks mate.
Thanks man, much appreciated I love this pedal myself, hope you enjoy it!
Best review and tonal variation regarding The Southland. Thanks!
Wow! thanks so much, hope it helped!
The ONE note you hit at exactly 6:59-7:00 sold me! YES! THAT is the tone I'm looking for! :)
Thanks for reminding me what great blues rock playing sounds like. It sounds glorious, and not too many players still around that can play like that.
Given how well harmonic overdrive's can grind, I just consider them equivalent in aggression and interchangeable with distortion. I love them dearly. I think this is the one to get of any of them.
I have a Southland, a Lightspeed, a Greer Lamplighter Compressor and a Greer Black Tiger Delay. They are all great. The only non-Greer pedals I have are an MXR phase95 Phaser and a Lekato Looper.
Super well done demo. Very nice playing too. Great job. Thank you.
Hey Kevin, apologies for the late response man, but thank you dude, much appreciated!
@@LeeButlerGuitarist I bought it, and the Lightspeed
@Kevin Musso Awesome, both great pedals, tone for days!👊
Got one of these coming in the post today. This demo has me pretty excited about it. Thanks for rocking a Tele!
the pedal is good?
Awesome demo think this could be what I'm looking for
Hey Tom, apologies for the beyond late reply man, but I'm glad the demo helped, thanks!
A demo with a Tele, thanks! Sounds great by the way, nicely done 👍🏻
Hey Gary, sorry for the way overdue reply, don't know how I missed your comment, but thanks man, much appreciated!
An fantastic demo of a great sounding pedal, thanks!
Thank you, glad you liked it!
hell f ing yeah! great playing...and i love this pedal....f ing great playing... did i mention f ing great playing?
the sound is so bright, i've seen all videos of this product, all of them is the same bright sound
Woah!! Coolest thing !
Thank you man!
Does the missing made in America sticker on my Greer Southlander pedal mean anything? Subbed...
Duuuude.... You are playing the rig of my youth that I wound up losing to drugs & alcohol: a black U.S. Tele into a Marshall stack JCM900 100W. Ohhhh man, I gotta replace them. Whenever I get the money I buy something else for some unknown reason (Fender Deville, Fender Strat....Gibson Les Paul... PRS 22... Pedals, pedals, pedals...)
It sounds so Kickin', balls out Rock n Roll! ( the pedal is a big part, but still)
The JVM he's playing here is a super good amp. I got to try the 4 channel JVM head, and the sheer range you get from plugging straight in is huge. I don't know why people dog on the JVM range so much.
I bought a jcm900 half stack in 1990
First Marshall - loved it
A 6 year old video! But does it replace a good ole sd1 or a ts808
Olé, ese heavy bueno.
Muchas gracias, mi amigo!
hello, what is the pickup on the bridge of the telecaster?
Just a stock MIM Fender bridge pup, sounds great to me! (apologies for my late reply)
