Absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I really enjoyed watching you work out the kinks to tighten up and align everything up for the final details. Your quality of work shows. I’m glad you show how you work through the challenges instead of just the final artwork. Thank you for sharing your beautiful art and your patience.
Thank you 😊 I tend to focus more and more on the challenging bits as that is what seems to be the most helpful for people so I am glad you are confirming that.
Wow! So amazing! This piece turned out gorgeous! Thank you for sharing so many new ideas and. As always, great helpful hints! I love including new materials, and leather looks like a perfect addition to be applied in so many ways! Love all you share! 💖
I have a question. I want my next macrame project to have wavy fringe. Do I need to use fabric stiffener or hairspray to keep the curl? Or will it stay curly on it's own? I just finished my first wall hanging a few minutes ago!
@@susansimmons3740 That's awesome! I have not had any of my pieces for that long (just two or three years max) but the wavy fringe that you get from using 3ply cords has stayed wavy without me using anything on it...
I Love it so much . The details, the knots and the pattern are so well made and symmetrical. I love how you used simple and basic knots and patterns and yet it’s so unique and beautiful.
i used your you tube video for my very first macrame project! your instructions were so easy to follow so thank you for that! I look forward to watching more of your videos! Cath 😊x
Love this tutorial. Amazing finished product. Lots of tips as usual and I especially like the way you explain how it sometimes doesn't go as planned but by redoing makes it perfect. Very inspirational. Thank you 😊
I just made this as a Christmas gift to my son and his wife. Love it!! But I'm having a hard time figuring out how to hang it? Can you give me some suggestions?
Thank you 😊 So at this moment I have 0 experience with dyeing cords so I am definitely not an expert to answer that question 😅 but I guess in theory you should be able to. However I do think the result won't be as seamless as if you bought the cord of that color. I will be trying this though in the next few weeks so keep an eye out for that video 😉
Beautiful work! Since there’s difference sizes of the leather and cord to the middle. The first part that you show alternating the leather and the cord, where do they go? I made your macrame shelf and it came out awesome! It was so detailed💜🦋💜
Glad you like it 🙂 I am not sure I understand the question, maybe let me know the timing of the video that you are asking about 😉 It's true that the sizes are slightly different but it worked out without me doing anything "special" to counter this, so that's why I am probably not sure what you are asking about...
I found that sweeping them lightly with a soft brush (the kind that you use to swipe floors with) helps to get any dust off. I wouldn't clean them any further as I would be worried that it will damage the cords.
Hey, thanks a lot for this macrame. It is very beautiful !!! Just two questions on leather : is it 5mm leather like the cords ? and where do you buy it ? Thank you very much for your help and your reply.
I believe it was 4 mm and I got it from a local czech online store that sells stuff to people who want to pretend it's the Middle Ages :D I hope that helps...
thank you very much for this tutorial, it is a lovely macrame and i am planning to do it. I just need to know the size of the rope to use, you wrote the measurements i the comments but it is not shown in the video which rope size to use. Hope you can help me :)
I was using a 5 mm cord, you can find that in the beginning of the description where I am mentioning how much of the cord I used in total 😉 Have fun recreating it!
Huh, good question, I guess it didn't occur to me that I could just leave them there 😅 I think I am so used to adding cords of different colors that I didn't realize that this one is the same as the base cords and therefore would not be visible if I kept it there....Please feel free to skip this step if you are making this.
That is an issue on some smaller pieces but once you put a heave enough dowel and plus the cords by the time you start making the knots the hooks are not moving. What I do on smaller pieces is that I add headbands on the ends of my dowel so that it doesn't slide off the S hooks...
It’s absolutely beautiful!
thank you :)
I like this pattern. Easy but looks like a lot. ❤

I love doing that too! Leather is definitely a good start for that…and thank you for the nice words 😊
SOOOOO Beautiful!
You are so talented.
Oh thank you 😊
That's a great tip on how to save cord! I also use Bobbiny and they make a fantastic product.
Yes, they really do, I can recommend them 100% 🙂

Thank you very much. I ended up tying knots at the bottom (beads several inches above). Perhaps for my next project! I already have one in mind!

Thank you! I do think that I am getting better with getting the details right 😊😇
This is lovely. Thank you for sharing. I will definitely be trying this one.
That's great to hear! Have fun!
Absolutely gorgeous!! I’m taking inspiration notes!
Yay! Thank you!

Hi Nitika 👋 Sending hugs to my fellow macrame artist 😉! And thank you for your nice words
I just made this as a Christmas gift to my son and his wife. Love it!! But I'm having a hard time figuring out how to hang it? Can you give me some suggestions?
An amazing piece you have created! I’m still learning but I’ll get there lol
Thank you 😊 and I am sure you will!
Absolutely amazing.. Love it 💜

Can't wait to make!

Love it you really did a lovely job🥰🌺
Thank you very much 😊
Beautiful!!
Thanks!
I love your work. I'm close to finishing it, but I don't see measurements for the fringe.
Sorry I just found the fringe measurements.
Thank you and I hope you will have fun with it 🙂
Love it!!!! Always a pleasure to see your tutorials. One? Can we dye marcame if we don't have or can't find a specific color?

@@annabaginova01 thank you but I figured it out and I made it. It came out awesome also. Thank you again for your detailed videos.
@@LisaCullen Oh perfect!
Gorgeous. I wonder how over time, you clean macrame hangings?
I found that sweeping them lightly with a soft brush (the kind that you use to swipe floors with) helps to get any dust off. I wouldn't clean them any further as I would be worried that it will damage the cords.

Wow!!!!!!. Love It!!!!
Thanks 😊
Tudo muito lindo!
obrigada 😊
Lindo 💖 maravilhoso 😍
I dound that instead of glueing your rope cutting it close to the rope & tucking it in with sizors looks much neater.
You can do that as well, it just seems like more work to me and I am always for the easier way 😅
What do you use to hang up your macrame wall pieces?
thank you very much for this tutorial, it is a lovely macrame and i am planning to do it. I just need to know the size of the rope to use, you wrote the measurements i the comments but it is not shown in the video which rope size to use. Hope you can help me :)

Hi
Please can you share measurements for the ropes in each section
Thank you
I know I am answering this kinda late so you may have already found this but all the measurements are in the description box of the video 😉
Why do you cut off the two outer cords of the square knot before adding the gathering knot?
Huh, good question, I guess it didn't occur to me that I could just leave them there 😅 I think I am so used to adding cords of different colors that I didn't realize that this one is the same as the base cords and therefore would not be visible if I kept it there....Please feel free to skip this step if you are making this.
Don't the S hooks move alot while working on your piece on the clothing rack??
That is an issue on some smaller pieces but once you put a heave enough dowel and plus the cords by the time you start making the knots the hooks are not moving. What I do on smaller pieces is that I add headbands on the ends of my dowel so that it doesn't slide off the S hooks...
