Thanks for the video. Which one is better? Mitsui KLIA or the Genting Premium Outlet or just the normal stores at KL?
Some breakdown since I went to the 3 options you mention:
- go to Mitsui if you already know what you’re looking for from a certain brand. Mitsui will have some discounts for it
- go to Genting outlet while on the way to Genting highlands, decent option and good weather but not a lot of brands.
- Normal stores will have more updated collections that are more trendy 👌🏼

I would say depends on brands & seasons but overall my experience is it’s cheaper at Mitsui

Hey! loved the tour, The thing is my mother is going to be visiting this mall soon, and I went on a website containing reviews of the mall and most of them said that the the prices were not affordable, the discounts were not enough, and the shops there were almost empty due to the high prices. Is this true? If yes, then please recommend some shops which will be affordable to shop in? Thanks!
It’s quite seasonal sadly - I agreed with the lack of discount as I only managed to buy a luggage and some random stuffs 🥲
I think your mum can still explore the mall as a whole as there will still be good deals seasonally

How the price / discount comparing with genting premium outlet ? Like Coach in premium outlet disc up to 60% , how abt mitsui?
I reckon in terms of bigger amount of discount, genting has more as mitsui discounts are more standard like 30% on average and 50% for selected products

How are the discounts?
Decent for some brands like Calvin Klein. Some brands have minimal discounts unless you buy 3 items to enjoy xx%
The stores worth visiting are the general known brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, adidas, new balance, luggage brands 😅
