Love the guides, you really explain the BO well and it helps to hear about win condition details. I am fighting ladder anxiety but I know I can get plat no problem if I just sit down and play.
Once you know what to do, ladder anxiety slowly goes away! Practice build orders, try to understand you civ win conditions and get some games under your belt! Then it will dissipate!

Upgrades in HoL take too long for a timing attack. I think Compound of the Defender is a lot better, because even if the game goes long and you can not finish immediatly, you will still get access to village fortress a lot faster through that landmark.
In the early game, going longer distances for higher gatherrate resources with villagers end up doing more harm than good to both your feudal timing and unit production. Additionally, because of mill to mosque influence, you will delay Wheelbarrow too 🙂 I do however think the best time to go for deer is after you’ve gathered berries 🙂
Thank you so much for this great video. İ have a question tho. The first villager you send the berrys in the begining. How do you hop it on the tc? The workers go inside in tc and then coming out from opposite side. When i try to do that the worker always come out from the same side of tc??
You want to avoid placing farms and win the game before. If it comes to a point where you need just a little more food, and you have the map control, then take your opponent’s food sources.

Yes great video i lost 5 games in a row but after i got accustomed to big macro and micro compered to ottomans i won my first game with a big lead over a guy with 236lvl when im alone have 16
Right now, it is a very good civ (top 3-4 on Arabia-esque maps) and it is not too difficult. What is difficult is the timing with them, i.e. when to go castle or when to stay feudal. You don't have to think about upgrades, and then you have a generally above average military. Good civ if you want to spam units ;)

Click the resouce you want to teleport to, then use "garrison villager" hotkey, and then the "back to work" hotkey
So lets say you cant keep the sacred sites so you do not generate any gold from them. How many vills would you put on gold ? Like 2 or 3 ?

I likd that bo. I think i always go for 3 priests to get upgrades a bit faster unless its suoer ealry pressure.

If the game goes late, and you’re playing with keeps as TCs, then you need farms, but it is rare to get to this stage in a game.
