Thank you. We're happy to do what we can during this unfortunate year. We might have to do a little deep dive on the Fitchburg engine and its governor. It's unique in the collection here and deserves some attention!
@@newenglandwirelesssteammus4167 I'd like to see that, it is unique. It has features of both the high speed engines and the automatic cut-off engines of the period. It's indicative of what the engineers of the timer were thinking.
One of my favorite museums. The entire building behind that engine is filled with steam engines. The other buildings are filled with the wireless part of the museum. Once a year they have a public "Steam Up" where the public is invited to see the exhibits. I believe this years is by computer. Check their website.
