Even though, as a Turk, I am not as familiar with the history of World War II as you are, I would love to be with you while you dig and experience that excitement. Finding a piece of history and guessing what might have happened in that area is fascinating. Keep it up brother!
Hello, regarding the bracelet you found, this isnt a bracelet and it should be a chain for a pocket watch which they would attach somewhere on their clothing, i know because i have a pocket watch with this chain with it. Nice video
I wonder if that was Franz Gockel's name tag. He was a machine gunner on the Normandy beaches and he survived the war. He was interviewed and parts of his interview were shown in a WW2 documentary on the Normandy landings. Since you're on Hitler's western wall, there's a good chance that could have been his tag. From Wikipedia: 'Gockel was shot in the left hand and had to fight his way to the company bunker in Colleville. From there he was transferred to the hospital in Balleroy and returned to Germany shortly afterwards.'
I live in Hawaii and was able to hunt the woods around the Schofield Barracks and we found 13 WW2 era Coca-Cola Bottles as well as two pepsi bottles, 3 dr. peppers, and some other bottles as well. very nice group of early German Coca-Cola bottles.
It would be interesting to track down the soldiers from the name tags, maybe they went missing in the war and someone would like closure. or something like that. either way its history.
Hey Chris Love your channel. I'm applying for my passport next month and getting a plan together for next year around August to make Germany my first visit outside of the u.s. do you have any recommendations? Me and my uncle enjoy ww2 history and would love to site see some good areas
The medal with 2 Humans : The medal commemorating October 1, 1938, colloquially known as the Sudetenland Medal, was founded by Adolf Hitler after the Munich Agreement in 1938. The badge is considered an anti-constitutional propaganda tool in Germany. Its manufacture, public wearing or distribution is prohibited under Section 86a of the German Criminal Code.
Coca-Cola a arrêté sa production en Allemagne en 1940. A la place, ils ont inventé le Sprite et le Fanta sous licence allemande. Donc, on ne pouvait rien leur reprocher...
@@KingDavidtheRed1 I miss that so the word rotted and that's all that was left thanks I couldn't figure that out I was getting confused. Cuz after that many years the would would be completely gone.

Could have been off a picture
they were not made from plastik they used bakalit for name tags ;)
Staat zon cola fles op eBay voor meer als 200 euro. Lijkt erop dat de waarde is wat de gek ervoor geeft. Vragen kan altijd laat maar zeggen.
Did they get new name tags where did they die with those on them.
The host specifically said " Name tags like these were found on their storage boxes."

Should really check the floors of the bunkers for helmets. Seems like a lot of detectorists find them left in the bunkers.
Ich freue mich zu sehen, dass es viele Dinge über den großen Hitler gibt, weiter so, liebe Grüße
