I feel like this song perfectly captured the abrupt ending of that chapter. The others were basically a credits roll, but this one actually left some impact.
The way i utterly broke down to this song during the credits is an unrivaled experience from a game... Zakuro just breaks my fucking heart to think about.. She did nothing but make the world of suba a brighter place and got desecrated in every way as return for it.
@@AFSmashMan I actually partially blamed them. I know they went through some similar stuff, and definitely were not mentally stable, for them to believe some shit from a magical girl anime was real, but I think at the time I was just pissed that it felt like as vulnerable as Zakuro was, she was so broken inside that she believed some crazy shit like that because people who she empathized with told her so, and basically used cold-reading to make her believe that. I definitely feel bad for them, too, but I think at the time I was angry at them. What happened to Zakuro was still fresh so I think she was the most unbalanced and was just desperate for things to get better even if it meant for their deaths. The other two may have had time together to heal themselves a bit which is why they were a bit more afraid. Zakuro basically felt like she had nothing to lose, a "Nothing could be worse than this reality" type of outlook, and those girls simultaneously healed and hurt her even more. But I also get that I can't hold it against them since they were nearly as broken inside as she was.

I just finished LGI man why did I get the Kimika version first if I hadn't I could've read it after which would have made it fresh in my memory but nah this one will be the one man I wanna hang myself now. especially when she started reciting cyrano de bergerac I'm actually dying rn. The worse thing about this is that the song is actually kinda fire
I think the H-Scenes from the two first endings in DTRH1 were solely done to convey the fact that it's all part of the illusion, a normal VN has hentai scenes near the end of each route, but in DTRH1 true ed we got no hentai scenes nor a kissing scene ( at Yuki's house ) as to make it a bit more realistic and for it to straw away a bit from the common VN trope, making it more resemblant to a real-life situation or an actual movie than a VN.
Just finished lgi,dk what to say,ed is 11/10, chapter itself sometimes was 1/10, sometimes 10/10, it would be in my top 2 work of fiction if not those moments where zakuro get bullied and fucked,it was really disgusting,i wanted to skip those moments

it's really cathartic, made me cry once

Doesn't help that the song itself is extremely somber even with the language barrier.
The world of mirrors isn't as pleasant as Alice made it out to be.
The world of mirrors was never pleasant tbh.
Also, technically everything is the world of mirrors in Subahibi.
damn its been years i remember my dad shouting at me to do my homework while this was playing lol
Oh Zakuro... poor girl
Still can't get over it. Zakuro deserves happiness, not that.
Certainly. I feel for her. Also feel bad for the girls that go through this, since this may be light compared to others' stories.

@@juliettestingray6023 I think the difference is that we saw Zakuro's journey and we didn't see theirs, so we feel what happened to Zakuro more.
Hearing this sounds breaks my heart for some reason
Even knowing what was about to happen at the end of the arc…. Still hit like a ton of bricks

At the top of a building, there’s a black cat
Staring at the echo of a rusted toy
In a blink of an eye, a girl falls down
Accelerating memories are like burst open pomegranates
My vanishing guilt

Chewing, stabbing, his big ears
At the sunset, the black cat laughs at the girl’s toy.

I have very mixed feelings on this game and it's use of H content but this arc was powerful
