Putting new Tires On Our Vintage Craftsman 12" Band Saw - We Had To Improvise

You may have seen a few weeks ago we got a new to us old school Craftsman Band Saw, the tires were walking off of it so we ordered new ones and now have to try to install them. Maybe we can figure this out....

As long as your guide blocks and bearings are adjusted correctly...that saw will work great for 90% of all home gamers.

Nice work improvising to get those tires heated. I put a set of urethane tires on my band saw a couple of years ago and they continue to work great. Keep it going boys!

We have a craftsman saw just like that. If you had a heat gun, that would have helped too. But y’all came up with a great solution.

Wow! I have the same bandsaw (25 years - bought it used $75) and just put new tires last spring. Got the same tires from the same guy you did! Also got guide bearings and guide blocks. Did the hot water thing. Did a lot of swearing! Love watching you guys! Have 6 mech pins so I watch Ronnie's channel too. Keep it up you guys!!
