Watch out for scammers posing as Publishers Clearing House

- A letter in the mail says you've won a prize from Publishers Clearing House. A check arrives to cover processing and taxes, but it's not from PCH. It's a scam.
😢 so sad for your loss and the pain that these people are going through and suffering from the loss that they may never get back
This is my story , I was contacted and they said if I pay 500 processing fee I would receive my winnings . Lucky I knew PCH doesn't charge any for winning . I did not pay , but I almost was fooled . Scammers were very close to confencing me ,they had a large sign with my name saying I won , ii was contacted several times but I refused to believe and now luckily I. Believe it was a scamm . Thank you PCH for your rules and my ability to spot the scammers before I got scammed . Derald M Miller ,thanks

Someone i don't know calls and claims i've won a life changing amount of money in a drawing i never entered and all i have to do is send them thousands completely untraceably to receive it. Sure, sounds legit. NOT. Does this really work? I guess it must.

I just had this happen to me this morning they called my phone and tried to tell me I won $1000000 and a Ford Explorer 2018 the things that they said did not make any sense they wanted me to send them $6,000 and no so I called the public clearance house and they confirmed that it was a scam I did not give out any of my personal information people are so sick
What is their number? I've been unable to contact PCH to verify.
Can you imagine the winner of the $1B Mega Millions recently in Illinois trying to pay the taxes before getting the money deposited?

Lookout for spelling and grammar errors. No legitimate company makes obvious mistakes or tries to contact you through social media. Just ignore those inbox messages and never give money to get money.
