Nick, Thanks for this very informative video. I feel like it was a long time in coming and really helps me understand the beginning of the process. A good future topic might be a step by step installation in a typical location. Always good to see you!
Would rather have ash box instead of pan. My old house stove was similar to this one and was dumping 3 times a day and had to watch my timing as needed time to allow for but of hot coals that always made way in it had to go out otherwise in fall before i did my leaves what was on ground would smolder or catch on fire if dry if I didn't time my dumping right. With my newer stove (bout 10 years in now) I dump the box every 2-5 days depending on the weather and if I'm burning alot or a little, no matter it is way less, way easier, never worried about hot coals and my timing being issue before needing to fill again.
Nothing. It's very similar to the Hobbit which is certified for UK residential. Many stoves are not certified for good technical reasons, but not this one, this is a stove that is just as good but hasn't gone through the certification process for certain reasons (I don't even think the EPA certifies under a certain size).
Like most small stoves on the market, Dwarf wood stoves are not UL listed for residential spaces or EPA-approved and are sold for recreational or temporary use only. Most of our customers are using our stoves in "temporary" structures not subject to building codes like RVs, buses, tiny homes on wheels, off-grid cabins, tents, yurts, etc. We haven't been prioritizing the certifications, and instead, are putting our resources into product development and building resources for our community. We do intend to get a UL listing at some point, and we may make an EPA stove in the future, but it's going to be a while.
Hi!🔥The Dwarf stove is not UL listed for residential spaces or EPA approved, and sold for "recreational" use only. Most of our customers are using it in structures not subject to building codes (i.e. tiny living people), so we haven't been prioritizing the certifications, and instead, are putting our resources into product development and building resources for our community. We do intend to get a UL listing at some point, but it's going to be a while. I'm not sure what you're referring to with the rest of the parts, but while we did have some backordered items all parts and stoves are being shipped out to our customers and we do communicate about shipping estimates regularly. Hope that helps!
Glad to see y'all still making videos! This is the stove that I want!
Thank you for making these videos!! They really help!! 🤗🥰
🥰
Great video,I am saving up for my stove ,I think it will heat and cook food for years to come in my van, thank you again.hugs from MN
i would love to add one of these to my little cabin but the cost is just so prohibitive.
It would be cool to see a more in-depth install and maybe alternative applications for this wood burner

I can’t wait to get mine, looks like a nice wood stove!
Great video. Thanks from Canada
This little stove is magnificent, I live in France, would it be possible to have it delivered to me ???
Somewhere in between 2:54 and 3:30, the door glass appeared. Be nice to see that done.
I wish would have showed how to install the flute for the back too.
How much room would you need behind the stove if the pipe comes out of the back?
Where can I find more info on the side/back heat shields? Do you sell these?

And also how do use and maintenance
Yes! In progress!
What makes this stove non- residential and other stove good for residential?

How many square feet would the 3 and the 4 heat up?
is this EPA certified. I understand they are picky about these things.

Is this EPA approved? I'm worried what the poster said. He never got the rest of his parts.
