I seriously wonder why this movie has so many bad reviews. This movie is for men, not for the boys. I'm sure he hasn't watched the movie in theatre, he has only watched the online version, that's why all these bad reviews. He hasn't reviewed the movie at all, he has just reviewed the people and his hatred towards them. Actually, this review he must have made it even before the movie released, just to show his irritation abt Rajni Sir. The moment first show was released, he has uploaded this video.
+Sharath Nb stfu. the movie was a routine templated one. the only ranjit here was the real ranjit who is all about we-are-dalit-so-what attitude without being open minded or Democratic about it. his own hate shows in the film in dialogs , had it been visual sequences it would have been understandable and accepted. this reviewer is an asshole jerk anyway. the only great thing in the film was rajinis manner, voice and clothes. the politics is disappointing, supporting cast poorly arched and the villain whom I really feel bad for is totally wasted. can be watched for the Rajini experience, screenplay doesn't stagnate, but the politics of it suck. Rajini has to do one with vetrimaran instead.

The problem with Tamil movie not crossing borders and cultures like Bollywood is because of fools like this reviewer. Tamil movies is vastly followed by people in Malaysia and Singapore without these people, Tamil movies will die quickly. For once a Production team has did extensive research of SEA Indian culture, lingo and Secret society traditions and presented a movie. But India's Tamils like this reviewer are toads in a well who wants their Songs , running around coconut trees dances and lame out of plots comedy in every single movie. I am Malaysian,what extensive culture research? Watch "jerantut ninaivugal" to feel our culture. Every supporting artist were unable to speak like us atleast they could have used local dubbing artist. Elders could not connect with the estate scene, was very poorly excuted plus the timeline of the struggle was wrong. The car used for Rajnj (Merz) was of the wrong era. How to enjoy the movie if you get turned of scene after scene. So sorry for those who wasted their money.

ha so true +1 only downside about the movie (watched it two times already in theater), the climax could have be shot more realistically, I thought the whole gun sequence could have been avoided. Number 2, the villains was very weak and there were too many.... other then this the movie is AWESOME!

There is no such scene portrayed in that movie which gives big trouble to the villain. I read most of the comments below. Some people still supporting this movie as good movie and writing bad remarks on the reviewer. For those, wait for one week and check out again on TVs and internet. Sure you can watch the interviews regarding Kalabi's failure. Being said, I am also Rajini sir fan and wasted big money on First show :(

Mr.'Know-it-All' , This film was clearly stated to not be those Swag masala Rajini films during the promotions. After such a long time , i saw Rajini as the great actor he was once glorified for with the required swagger for the role , a it unique script that depicts the real pain and sufferings of each character drawn in the film, hardcore fans might have felt bored because of the lack of those insane rope stunts and dreamland songs , but a film is graded with respect to how it delivers to the mass public what it wanted to deliver and Kabali completely justified it , if you wanna say you are not the critic type review but a fun based reviewer then act like one , don't be this harsh on any movie being released.

Watched kabali today..really it is worth to watch ,there are goosebumps moments, emotions and impressively social message which is like hard slap for most of them politically . Overall package is good,not like how it is portrayed in media.Enjoyed it thoroughly.

Correct Review. I got headache after watching the movie. Could not really get involved in the movie. May be should have made more interesting screenplays.
The movie was good. Rajinikanth and everybody acted very good in the movie. 1st half was so entertaining. But the 2nd half was somewhat boring. The movie lags a lot. Songs and BGM were also amazing in the movie. The movie could be more better.

Honest review. I felt the same. You can still go after interval and Kabali will still be hunting his enemies and vice versa. Dialogues are childish and screenplay is mokkai. One can easily guess the scenes. Nothing new in them. Entire Malaysia is after Kabali but he is able to fly in and out of KL without anyone noticing. I could hear Rajini fans making jokes during 2nd half. The gangster guy coming after interval (Chennai scenes) is the only one who has done a great job. In all, for Rajini fans, this movie is கபாலிடா!! For others, கடுப்புடா!!

Kabali may not be loved and enjoyed by all, but surely it's a huge hit. Lots of people have poured into theaters and have watched the film. But what I believe is that Mr. Blue sattai has used strong words on reviewing this film. I have not seen this guy regard any film as a "MUST WATCH".
His own film is a must watch according to him
