Hiromi Uehara Pisa jazz festival 2024

Nel 2015 al teatro di Fiesole era più spenta seppur con due giganti della musica (il bassista Anthony Jackson e il batterista Simon Phillips).
Band attuale composta da Hadrien Feraud al basso, Gene Coye alla batteria e Adam O’Farrill alla tromba.
Nonostante le avversità iniziali del concerto a causa del blackout si è concessa al pubblico regalando sorrisi ed energia ed anche delle parole in italiano.
Come hai più volte ripetuto durante in concerto "GRAZIE MILLE!"

The trumpeter can't match up to the group. That hasn't changed in a year. But at least he's not pushing all the solos with echoes. It was the biggest bluff of all.
Let's be fair, I thought his solo was terrible, but I liked the answering towards the end.

I think we can assume that Hiromi can enlist pretty much any trumpet player she might like. I doubt that she'd be hiring a player that she knew "couldn't match up".
