The King's Academy, a National Blue Ribbon, Christian school in South Florida, recently presented "Les Miserables" on its main stage. Starring TKA alum Nate Adams (Jean Valjean), senior Chase Pereboom (Javert), sophomore Kyle Martin (Marius), senior Lexi Graves (Eponine), junior Graham Popadic (Thenardier), senior Summer McCarty (Fantine), and junior Gracie O’Connor (Cosette), this performance showcased TKA’s young talent and was the last musical staged at the school’s Loveland Center. (In May 2017, King’s opened the Page Family Center for Performing Arts, a state-of-the-art, 800-seat theatre, at its West Palm Beach campus.)
TKA’s Conservatory of the Arts, an American High School Theatre Festival award-winning fine arts program, is led by Mr. David Snyder (Artistic Director, Musical Theater, Department Chair), Mrs. Sonia Santiago (Vocal Arts), Mrs. Cathy Higgins (Dance- Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz), Miss Riselle Portuondo (Dance- Ballet and Modern), Miss Sarah Fahey (Theatre Arts), Mr. Brad Majzner (Stagecraft), Mr. David Skinner (Instrumental Director), Mr. Wes Lowe (Assistant Band Director), Mr. Patrick Clifford (Strings), Mrs. Macey Norton (Video/Digital Arts), Mrs. Laura McFaden (Visual Art), Miss Mikah Adams (Popular Music, Elementary Choir), Mrs. Robin Phillips (Piano), and Mr. Gene George (Elementary Music Theory and Band).

Send him to Broadway NOW!!!!!
A HIGHER key?! That’s amazing
INCREDIBLE. This school was so fortunate to have such a talented Jean Valjean. This production is great.
I love how his voice is soft and sweet yet powerful. I think it really fits Valjean.
This one made me sob, no other pro Valjean did...What a VOICE, Cameron Macintosh should see this.
Is he a pro stage actor. His vocal dynamics is admirable. Great control!
Agnus Borealis I think he is their music teacher
Kimberly Berger yeah I heard it in the comments section of another section of the performance
Orpheus Black not surprised. He looks too old to be a high school student
I’d love to see Nathaniel Adams (Valjean) on Broadway! The clarity, power, and resonance of his voice are simply stunning. His phrasing, vibrato, and sustain are amazing. I’ve seen Les Mis six times in three different countries; yet I keep coming back to Adams’ Valjean. Bravo!
His belt, his vibrato, the emotion in his voice and on his face, that last note... stunning is the only word I can use to describe this. I've watched this video at least 10 times in the last 3 days. In my opinion, this is better than the OBC.
Breath taking! Such a soft yet powerful voice. Absolutely perfect vocal range and the emotion in his voice and face really brings it home (no pun intended)
Yeah. I swooned. And cried. That was heavenly - this young dude has an amazing career ahead of him.
This is easily one of the best performances of this song I've ever seen. I don't know what it was, but this just had some real emotion in it. Beautiful job.
Stunning performance. Broadway quality....
This . Performance . Was . Just . Pure . AWESOME !!!!
this man is a 10x better valjean than hugh jackman will ever be
I really disliked the movie version and thought it was horribly miscast!
@Kallie Doggie cats
I knew it from the beginning that this guy would sing Bring Him Home best.
And gosh, was I right. This is so powerful and I can feel like the emotion is so strong that he´s not in his control what he´s doing!
This was a compliment, if said by me. Because I adore sincere and heartfelt performances.
Also, perfect voice.
I have never been more captivated by a performance. It's a privilege to listen to this.
This is my most favourite song ever. It is in my favourite musical!
Wow... Nate you are far beyond amazing. The best version I have ever heard!!!!
More heartfelt than some professional Valjeans. You, sir, are simply amazing!
HOLY MOLY!!!
Such a great Valjean. One of the best I've seen.
Oh my Lord. Absolutely stunning, mesmerizing, emotional. I wonder if the audience realizes what a masterful rendition of a difficult song this is. Could absolutely be on Broadway. I
I am officialy obsessed with this version ❤
What a voice! I'm impressed
The best interpretation of this song I have ever heard. Such a rich and nuanced voice. Beautiful.
I have to re watch it again and again. So powerful yet heartwarming. Spectacular.
Bring Him Home is my favorite piece and this young man gave the song justice. He is amazing! BRAVO!!!
Spectacular! Kudos to an amazing cast.
Now that's a Broadway worthy voice. Wowza!
I started watching from the prologue and immediately skipped to this song, god damn. Just wow. Beautifully sung
That was a very special Prayer, thank you.
What an amazing voice! Bravo! 👏👏
Brilliant performance!
I’m speechless
Amazing.
Oh my goodness!
Amazing!!
Excellent!
WOW !!!!!
Wow, this guy who played Jean here is just... wow!!!!! What is his name in real life? Greetings from Brazil!
Bravo!
It would be nice if God existed. Then there would have never been a need for people to revolt in the first place.
Bring him home is not the Villain song
That turn the Villain into the hero
Stars is definitely the Villain song
Bring him home is the hero song
Wow just wow and I never comment
Wow
Better then most valjeans on broadway.
True. He is one of my favorites.
I mean this is absolutely, fundamentally untrue. Broadway and West End singers are the best in the world, apart from maybe opera but that's a different style. Yes, he is very very good. But he's not comparable with Broadway/West End Performers.
Better than Hugh Jackman? Definitely.
Better than Ramin Karimloo/Alfie Boe/John Owen Jones/Colm Wilkinson? Not a chance. Look em up if you dont believe me!
@@benwilliamson7787 hugh jackman is a way better jean valjean than all those guys put together
@@kingdomheartsfan7217 You must be joking! Hugh struggled with most notes above a G4 (and was flat on most of them too!). Acting wise, yes Hugh wins. But I was very disappointed with his singing, as someone who is used to the far greater talent that the West End and Broadway has to offer. He doesn't come close to any of the names I mentioned...
@@kingdomheartsfan7217 look up Ramin Karimloo Valjean Soliloquy and then look at Hugh's version and you'll see what I mean! 👍💪
I've heard many, many versions of this song and thought (IMHO) only Colm Wilkinson could do it justice. Well, I was wrong!
He’s alright
So is this kids gonna be at the next Tony's or what?
Is he one of the teachers at the school?
no he's an Alumni.
And now a teacher
VERY VERY good, superb- but Alfie Boe owns this song.
❤️🙏🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🙏❤️🙏🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🙏❤️
He sounds sort of like Josh Groban.
I miss Senor Gegorio Umaña but this is fantastic, too.
Catch Gregorio on #TKAtv this coming season as Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde in "Jekyll & Hyde"!
