Today I had an issue with Gigaset n300a IP. The issue is call was no connection or it was call busy which was lot of time. Don't know what is wrong. It is registered but problem with receiving call or sending call. I restarted it and fixed but I don't know what happened. Can someone help me?
Completely omits the base set up which is what I was looking for - I cannot get my phone to get a dial tone so am not sure if the base is set up / cables connected correctly - no help here at all...
The Gigaset N510 is a professional VoIP base station, normal consumer products are significantly easier to configure. Business products are only recommended for advanced users or experienced VoIP/Network administrators.
@@ReviewTechTV I wasn't looking for configuration instructions. Your video completely omits the physical set up of the base - which cables go where etc. AND, how condescending could you be assuming that if a user is not a so called 'professional,' they would not be able to grasp or understand the instructons!?
I agree the physical set up is very easy, only network cable and power supply, configuring the settings depend on your VoIP provider, from my experience it is much easier to configure consumer-grade products than the commercial pro gear. I understand your frustration, and I am convinced you are capable of finding a solution.
@@castlerose2158 How difficult can it be to plug in a few cables compared to the setting up that he showed... If you cant get the cabling right there's no way you would be able to get the next part correct. I think he could have shown it but to be as ungrateful as you for what he has shown is pathetic.
@@ReviewTechTV I ended up buying this as a mistake as I thought it was the upgraded version of the N300 which allows you to connect it to a normal PSTN telephone line....Still playing with it when I get the time as they are quite complicated to configure.
Yes, I think they made some changes to there website/service, suddenly the old support articles for connecting VoIP phones disappeared as well, not sure what the reason.

From my experience the PRO products are complicated to setup and use.
In fact most people in Germany have VoIP integrated into their VDSL Router.
@ReviewTechTV I'm from the UK just had problems with the voip. It's working for now since I got static IP address so far.

In future could you please NOT have background music while you talk. Have it only for titles and credits. Thank you.
