One of kind sound. When ever anyone plays a Lynch lick it stands out. All the great guitarist had there own signature sound. Lynch is one of those guys. Up there with Eddie , Satch, Rhodes ect.. True pioneer. My band Damaged Things is playing with George Lynch and Lynch Mob this July 13 at Holy Diver in Sacramento CA. Can't wait to share the stage with them.
in the "In My Dreams" solo, look at the 8-9 fret stretch he plays at the end. He has huge hands. That is huge asset. Most people imitate that solo and tap the higher frets.
Great list! I would take away maybe "Cry of the Gypsy" and put "Dream Warriors" and have "Without Warning" in there somewhere. But that's just my preference. What a great body of guitar solos!
As a parting shot, let's hear it for the special appearance by "The Guitar Buddy Throw & Go Wrap Around Guitar Trainer", complete with "Whammy Neck"!!! Some of you will get that....
Back for the attack....the best album for hit after hit. there isn't one song i don't listen to. Everything is just melodic bliss. but mr scary is just an epic masterpiece.
You put together some of the best solos and it blended well. I haven’t been on a George Lynch kick for years because he really hasnt done anything I guess. Maybe he’s had enough, I don’t know. Anyway this is a great piece. I desperately want George to do a blue rock album such as what Zack W has been doing for years. Georges thick guitar sound would be incredible and would love to hear him slow it down with that sound. He could still do it. I wanted to see Eddie VH do it but the only thing he did that was blues rock sounding is a Toto song and Ed was bad ass on that song. Look it up. He’s playing Hold the Line and just sounds incredible
@@thweatt22 Seems as though they didn’t do well because the name isn’t that big and I didn’t know anything about it. Lunch also is running through some pedals that give him a thin sound. I would be glad to hear a different sound from him as long as it’s full distortion and a thick guitar sound. This sound of the entire band just doesn’t have a full rich sound to it
You forgot his best solo. All I want off wicked sensation. Lightning strikes again kicks tooth and nails ass but other than that very solid list 100%. Made my day to see heaven sent on there and to see cry of the gypse (Lynch’s most overlooked solo) so high on the list
I love Lynch but EVH paved the way for every modern rock player from 1978 - current. The kids learning to play today know the real players. I see them on here learning Lynch and EVH. Not a great way to learn but at least they respect the best. EVH was in a class of his own.
A lot of these solos should no have made it. These are my pics, not in any specific order. Tooth and Nail, Wicked Sensation, Kiss of Death, Heaven Sent, In My Dreams, Into the Fire, Paris is Burning (the solo for the song, not intro), Lightning Strikes, Dream Warriors, Walk Away. Other honorable mentions, "The Hunter", "When Heaven Comes Down", Currently, Lynch is a different player. Like most players as they mature, they lose the "spark" when they were in their zone years ago. He couldn't play these solos now.
@@dylankendall9354 I agree. That's one of my favorite. Have you seen Lynch now in interviews? He can't play like that anymore. He's just a difference player from living life. He's been there and done that. Just like many other players. Even though guitar playing is a smaller niche, he showed some greatness. But EVH was the best IMO. Just for being an innovator. Not to mention, his playing and what he was doing in the late 70's. Unreal.

How did it go?
You cant leave a comment like this and not tell us how it went.
SACTOWN PROUD! My friends from Bell Tower Sniper played with him once too out in Citrus Heights!
The way he phrases you know it’s him
@@ethanolhaines4139 great. Huge showing. Hot as fuck though. Lost a few pounds from sweating. Lol
GEORGE LYNCH IS WAS & ALWAYS ALWAYS WILL BE MY MOST FAVOURITE GUITARIST EVER!!!!!!!!
GEORGE LYNCH RULES!!!!!
Heaven sent solo was the best he ever did. They’re all great, but that one was epic. It was perfection
Hands down. Just perfect.. I get ridiculously excited every time I hear it
The lead guitar in _Heaven Sent_ is certainly among my favourites for sure. As is typical in most of Lynch's solos the phrasing is phenomenal.
I really liked his solo in Lighnin strikes again...In my dreams...Walk away as well 😎🎸
Glad to see you young guys showing your appreciation for the real guitar players.

Lynch is my fav of all time! 🤘🏻🎶🎸
Great list !!!! Paris is Burning , Breaking the Chains and Tooth and Nail my personal favorites 🎸
That tooth and nail solo was insane
That distinct George Lynch sound.. Probably my favorite guitarist of all time.
My, absolute, favorite guitarist. So many great solos, I’m not sure I could ever pick which is best…. 🤘🏼
His solos are incredible and his riffs are great too
Great video, keep up the good work! George Lynch is one of the most underrated guitarists of all time.
Lynch has amazing ferocity and technical ability, excellent tone, and always melodic.
That mr scary solo my gosh!!!
I'm always Rockin with Dokken! \m/ My favorite solo is Alone Again. He is in my top 5 for best guitarist.
Great list! I would take away maybe "Cry of the Gypsy" and put "Dream Warriors" and have "Without Warning" in there somewhere. But that's just my preference. What a great body of guitar solos!

"If you wanna know what I'm doin', you're asking the wrong person."
Lynch has always been my favorite guitarist. I felt The Hunter should have been on this list.
Nice list 👏
Excellent guitarist
Nice job young man.i think you picked em.
Heaven Is Waiting should be on this list! Great compilation though.
Any list that has Cry of the Gypsy is instantly legit in my book.
So many great ones, but my top 3:
Gold: In My Dreams
Silver: Wicked Sensation
Bronze: Heaven Sent

I'm sad to see that his solo for sweet sister mercy wasn't on here, but this is a great compilation for sure!

Isn't he in a band with Doug Pinnick of King's X now?
@@thweatt22 I’m really not sure on that one! I haven’t heard but I know he’s getting up in age

George lynch is Dangerous 🔥

Night by night and heaven sent are his best imo
What song is the solo shown at the beginning of the video?
Without Warning
Nobody can milk tone out a note the way he does !
Ahhh....the 80s when men were still men!
Great list but i myself like The Hunter
Anything on dokkens first 4 albums are literal perfection

Always played through to much delay in every single solo lynch and delay is like Hammet and wah wah pedal

Heaven sent solo is so fucking good though.... How could it not make the list.
