I spend a lot of time alone and prefer it. However I don’t truly feel alone because my guardian angel is always with me and God and Our Lady and the saints.
My phone/ipad is what I used to secretly watch Catholic videos when I was wasn’t allowed to. I used earbuds so I wouldn’t get caught. The phone is what I used to watch Catholic teaching videos. If I didn’t have my phone and therefore couldn’t watch Catholic videos I don’t know what I would do.
Always have important data written down. Also, what if we lose power, internet? I like some of our old ways. Im 70 and most of my life was before internet. The world survived with out cell phones, but I think the real grab of cell phones is that All info is in cell phones.
I don't know why we're saying isolation is a choice we literally just lived through what we happened in covid nineteen, where people were effectively forced to be isolated. Maybe some people are isolated because they have trouble making friends. For whatever reason. Talking from personal experience satan is always looking for ways to isolate you. And a lot of these things involve people turning people against you. I'm cutting you off from help and support. And a lot of these things are done outside of your own will power the idea that oh, isolation is just completely of your own volition, right? There's absolute nonsense if you ask me and again, did we not just witness a worldwide global issue where we saw that isolation may not always be an issue of choice, or at least you could probably allude to okay. Yes, sometimes maybe you are being forced into situations where you're probably going to be isolated and put at a disadvantage. And it might not exactly be completely of your own choice. Sometimes people just simply ostracize you for no good reason, and thus you're left in isolation. Also, well, yes, perhaps we're not ever gonna hide from God. The idea that we should just allow people to invade our privacy or just be content with people watching us who have malicious intentions.I think it's a little bit asinine.Honestly. Some boundaries shouldn't be crossed, and yes, somebody invading your privacy is an issue. Well yes, it is true, no sin is ultimately private. Did we not see biblically a story? Where's somebody brought shame to Noah by uncovering their nakedness? Reality is that yes, some people want information about you because they want to leverage that information to control, manipulate and destroy you. So, yes, the issue of privacy is actually a pretty big deal, and while, yes, you should always live recognizing that every last action I do is going to be Unveiled, in my final judgments, the reality is in the current battlefield information about individuals is of concern. We shouldn't justify privacy invasion on the basis that God already knows everything. There are those who wants imitate God so why should we justify some of their pursuits of obtaining knowledge that they shouldn't have.
Dude phone are apart of our lives no going back; we need checks and balance with them. Instead of just saying phone=bad how bout use your phone only to either connect with someone or grow in your faith/knowledge in truth goodness and beauty
Where do you live ? About how old are you ? I am looking for a good friend, just to talk. I am isolating too. Everyone is way too busy to let me in their circle.

Should priests take phones into the confessional while doing confessions. Someone is always listening. And recording.

Unfortunately I am isolated. My relatives are all deceased and I don’t have a wife or girlfriend.

What are the problems with lies???
Any idea what the repercussions are from God Almighty? Just curious
Lies is a mortal sin in the eyes of God, and we all know where we will go if we die in a state of mortal sin
@andrewbangs9073 Depending on the severity of the lie and the intent behind it, it can be considered a mortal sin, but not all lies are mortal.
