First Day of Meteorological Spring 2023

Today’s a beautiful start to meteorological spring this year! Checking up on my Washingtonia filifera, a Trachycarpus fortunei seedling, and some canna lilies I started from seed.

Everything is looking fantastic man! Let's hope we don't get no more frost I seen on my weather here for Muncie we got some hard frost coming in soon!

hey. you might want to increase your gardens biodiversity to increase the health of the ecosystem. easiest way i've found is flowers. perennials are easy but need water. also get/make a bokashi composting bin so you can fertilise with liquid when your plants look hungry.

We'll see frosts and freezes until almost May. But I think the really bad ones (below 20F) are likely done, fingers crossed.
