I actually have decent faith in Miguel, Miguel is perfect for keeping people busy when needed. I think he is indeed strong but just had the unfortunate task of having to keep Gojo busy which he was able to do decently well. The goal is to stop Sukuna, but I am sure Miguel knows his job is not to beat Sukuna but simply to stall him long enough for Maki and Yuta to get healed up to come back and throw hands again. I think he is going to successful stall just long enough for Yuta to come back with Maki and hopefully Yuji for round 2!
The problem with him “stalling” gojo is that gojo wasn’t trying. Sure he tanked a non serious gojo’s barrage but we know gojo was holding back significantly so how much does that actually mean becuase we don even know how high gojo’s ap was compared to his ap normally. I assume Miguel’s durability is on yuta’s level AT BEST and we know one blue enhanced punch from gojo is enough for yuta. Unless Miguel pulls out a domain or some shiii I don’t see him stalling sukuna unless sukuna plays with him like gojo did. I get sukuna’s heavily weakened but we saw what he did against maki even while weakened.

Whether it be a flashback to training in Kenya or if Miguel holds off The King of Curses long enough for Yuta to jump back in to help him. Miguel deserves his time in the spotlight and it’s so nice to see him in the story proper finally.

Miguel has one of the best stalling feats in the verse equivalent to the disaster curses (all together) stalling Gojo. Sukuna needs to be stalled for everyone to heal up and throw their last ditch effort it. I'm surprised he fits so perfectly here but no one called it.
I also think its interesting that we haven't seen Miguel's cursed technique. The rope itself is just a tool and we have no confirmation that he's heavenly restricted. All of that combined with the fact that he didn't use it during his fight with gojo makes me believe that it's probably super powerful since i expect it to have a binding vow of some sort.
The interesting thing here is that Sukuna is taking damage, and even if he DOES start going all out, that damage is adding up. It's kinda a recurring thing in JJK that it doesn't matter what you pull out, damage sticks. Hence why Mahito lost in his Instant Spirit Body of Distorted Killing: he was still worn down from the previous fights. So so long as Miguel lands at least a couple good hits, he's still contributed.

It cost Mahito everything and will note, even Kenjaku was quick to note he was in trouble against Takaba when he started wracking up damage from comedian while Takaba wasn't taking any, even though Kenjaku can heal. JJK is kinda consistant that taking damage over the course of time has a major impact on a fight barring specific circumstances, and 'reality ensues' and even powerful characters get screwed over by relatively mundane things, like Kenjaku being taken down purely because he was distracted and let his guard down at the wrong moment.
Considering the cyclical narrative of JJK and the recurring themes in this arc I reckon Miguel is here to buy time for something, just like he was in JJK0 Maybe for Shoko to heal a few key people 👀
Miguel’s hair is the black rope if you look at the picture of his before his hat his bigger and in the leakes is smaller so I think he cut some off and rope it together for this fight but his cursed technique is different then Japan we have to remember that he is from out side the country so his technique could be somthing like using bodily matter as a curse technique as it would be a true innate curse technique. I love these creative ideas and I'm really interested to see what Miguel's Cursed Technique/Abilities might be, but I at least don't think his hair is the black rope since we know that sorcerer's spent decades enchanting rope to make it. Also I don't think we know what Gojo did with the Inverted Spear of Heaven, when they're talking about it with Tegen they guess that he either sealed it or destroyed it. If he ended up giving it to Miguel that could be a crazy reveal!

Miguel about to last about 2 chapters which is a shame cus hes always been a secret favourite character of mine. It would be nice if him and Yuta worked together to fight Sukuna, maybe we could get a backstory of their relationship and more information about what happened in Africa.
Gege has never let us down before in the long run. Things might go unexpectedly in the moment and that may feel disappointing at that time, but it ultimately ends up culminating into something awesome. Just be patient and accept the story as it comes.

The entire fight with Sukuna has been the culminating point of this whole manga. The Gojo fight was shortlived, too. just as the fight finishes we see Gojo say "Sukuna was holding back". Since then, the rest of the cast has supposedly had some master plan, yet everything they're trying is failing, the goals they had for their respective fights have all been upturned, and the characters are acknowledging this. Only way Gege can "fix" any of that is by lying to his audience and retconning things he's already shown us or by inserting things we just could never see in his drawing/writing and proving how inept he is at developing a story.

Eso and kechizu have rot techniques which means shoso and the other have different techniques. The techniques are all based on their names similar to their physiology(which based on decaying body ) .
Crazy idea. What if Miguel is the one wielding the inverted spear of heaven? Like he is a whip user and Gojo might have sent it to him as a peace offering after destroying his rope; as the price to be a mentor to Yuta. I mean, Miguel is a mercenary, he doesn’t do anything for free, and he’s the only person, bar Sukuna, to go toe to toe with him in his prime. Even Toji couldn’t do that.

Pitting anyone vs Gojo or Sukuna has the same result as watching a dog trying to win a fight with an elephant. Even if it's the strongest breed of dog, it will be useless against an overwhelming opponent. Gojo didn't even try to use his whole kit vs Miguel so we don't know how strong he is. Miwa could be a chihuahua in terms of power and Miguel could be a Pitbull, still, against an elephant like Gojo, being the weakest or strongest of those canines means nothing.
I have been saying Geto's family was going to play a factor in the end game. They do not want the end of japan, they want a world with cursed sorcerer's, which means Sukuna's goal is going against Geto's. I think we are going to see all of Geto's family make an appearance to help in this fight.
Over time, this gege actually becomes a clown by just repeating what has happened. There is a character fighting Sukuna, after that he loses, then someone else appears and loses again, which makes the situation worse, the fight is only 2-1 chapters
i was sceptical of Miguel till i remember that Yuta Hakari and Uraume threw up after just one punch while Miguel took it like a champ (tho i know he never got hit on the gut i believe)

Lol I would love to see Inumaki again, and if he went out in a blaze of glory screaming DIE I'm here for it. I'm not sure that command would work on him considering how strong he is, but I really would love to see Inumaki come in for some sort of Hail Mary play of "Don't Move!" or something else as just one of the pieces in getting the final blow on Sukuna or something. A lot of people seem to look over the fact that Miguel didn’t get his ass whooped in the manga. Those were liberties taken by the animators. Miguel vs Gojo wasn’t shown on panels and he was successful in stalling Gojo. Gege referred to him as the MVP of the night of a hundred demons.

I love these creative ideas and I'm really interested to see what Miguel's Cursed Technique/Abilities might be, but I at least don't think his hair is the black rope since we know that sorcerer's spent decades enchanting rope to make it. Gege has never let us down before in the long run. Things might go unexpectedly in the moment and that may feel disappointing at that time, but it ultimately ends up culminating into something awesome. Just be patient and accept the story as it comes.
@@whirlwind872 You'll have to elaborate on that, I've yet to see anything except to Gojo fight living up to its hype. Not only that, this IS "the long run". The entire fight with Sukuna has been the culminating point of this whole manga. The Gojo fight was shortlived, too. just as the fight finishes we see Gojo say "Sukuna was holding back". Since then, the rest of the cast has supposedly had some master plan, yet everything they're trying is failing, the goals they had for their respective fights have all been upturned, and the characters are acknowledging this. Only way Gege can "fix" any of that is by lying to his audience and retconning things he's already shown us or by inserting things we just could never see in his drawing/writing and proving how inept he is at developing a story.
I think Miguel will signify Yuta’s return / awakening.

Even if it's the strongest breed of dog, it will be useless against an overwhelming opponent. Gojo didn't even try to use his whole kit vs Miguel so we don't know how strong he is. Miwa could be a chihuahua in terms of power and Miguel could be a Pitbull, still, against an elephant like Gojo, being the weakest or strongest of those canines means nothing.
