I’m really going to miss all the amazing whisky shops & bars in the UK. Talking to the shop employees & sipping samples was a lot of fun! Definitely nothing like that here in LA
The G&M Linkwood 15 Distillery Labels is really recommendable if you like the Mortlach 15 from the same series. Though their Distillery Labels Longmorn and Strathisla are nice too.
I've been really enjoying all the whisky vlogs you've been doing. I've noticed that most of the whiskies are more expensive over in UK than they are in the US. At least when you convert pound to usd.
Thanks Hydra. The UK has 20% VAT (sales tax) on top of duty so I think that is making the difference. Now in the US we will have the 25% tariff so maybe thy will not be cheaper here much longer.
