The problem is that the rear PCV valve is clogged and causing oil to accumulate in the air intake hose and throttle body. Cleaning the throttle body is only a temporary fix. Changing both PCV valves and cleaning the throttle body has corrected my problem.

I saw a video about the PCV valves and drilling a better hole. I can’t find it now. Can someone comment the video?

Install Oil Catch Can on front pcv breather and back pcv (orifice) breather will stop oil accumulated in the air intake tube. There are some video shown how to install on Acadia. I have installed them on my Acadia and caught oil and water steam mixed oil in yellow. I no longer need to clean up my air intake tube. It also eliminated carbon built-up inside the throttle body and on upper valve. In addition, apply seafoam or techron total fuel system cleaner bottle in gas tank also help to clean the carbon built-up due to this accumulated oil. Don't drill bigger hole on orifice as some people recommended. I did it. While it not get oil in the air in take tube via the front pcv breather but more oil accumulated through the open (bigger drilled hole) into the top throttle body chamber. It caused more carbon built up and white smoke.

Im very late to this but I have an ly7 motor. Do you have a link for the front oil/air seperator?
I saw some people talking about one that replaces the factory oil cap and has a pressure valve there.

I heard the PCV Valve must be drilled larger holes to avoid oil leak into intake ...

Proven TEMPORARY fix. All who posted this solution had to go back to the drawing board.

That dirty piece has absolutely nothing to do with signals to the throttle... nothing! Two wires move the plate and the other wires report to the computer the position of the plate. A dirty boot has nothing to do with it. Also, i have never seen multiple misfires codes fixed by replacing a throttle in my life...

The problem was because of the oil being sucked into the engine . And yes genious after many miles of it sucking /coating the throttle body it can and WILL get into the electrical part of the servo (a.k.a) electric motor as that's all it really is ..lol and thus for can short or cause it to not stay in a steady position and make it look like your room gauge is bouncing ..also can kick the torque converter out of lockup and will relock causing shudder..or also feel like a misfire under load or right before it shifts.. so in the future educate yourself a lil more before trolling ..or you'll just look like a big dumb@$$.. thx 😆

Also a nice coating of unburned oils turns rock hard like carbon and will clog up injectors and coat the valves causing a rough idle and lack of power . Or a engine that will miss and throw the po300 cause it can't determine what's actually causing the miss

Should we trust a guy who can't even pronounce the name of the vehicle right? 🤔
