honestly the cheapest easiest HC build is a shockwave bear druid that also uses armageddon.. its probably the safest build there is, just get as much FCR as possible and stun lock everything into armegeddon , with super budget gear they can clear everything in hell but cant kill baal very fast

Nice video. Btw I think "Magic Damage Reduced By xx" applies not only to magic damage, but also to fire, lightning and cold damage, so it can be very usefull combined with res and absorb.

@@OldSchoolGameSnob yes, it's very confusing how the term "magic" damage is used in d2...sometimes it refers to actual magic damage, sometimes it's more like "elemental" damage. Also, if an attack deals physical and elemental damage at the same time, I think "damage reduced by xx" and "magic damage reduced by xx" stack somehow, although I'm not completelly sure on how this works.

I’ve played Diablo on and off for years and I’ve never created a hardcore character. I already have an anxious disposition. I don’t need to make it worse!
A friend of mine has been playing D2 since launching, he has created his first hc now, he is enjoying it so much, he says it is like a different game. We are going to do our first Tristán ubers on hc together. But prepared yourself for mini heart attacks when your live goes under 50% suddenly!! Enjoy it

I think so! I was in chat on a livestream the other night, and we were actually discussing that very thing, what type of damage does doll explosion do? I think it's physical but, I'll have to test it... with a non HC char, heh, actually... new video idea coming up.
@@alexanderfalbium7194 the explosion is fire and physical both I believe. Essentially corpse explosion upon death. Believe PDR and fire res helps

Bone fetish's explosive death animation deals purely physical damage, a random 3.25-6.5% of the bone fetish's base max HP prior to scaling, which is blockable and ignores non-player units and has a 5% chance to crit.
Damage is calculated as follows:
MaxHp = MonLvlHp*MonStatsHp/100
MaxDamage = MaxHp*CorpsePct/100
MinDamage = MaxDamage*60/100
Physical Damage Taken = (MinDamage + rand(MaxDamage-MinDamage) - 1) / 2
CorpsePct = 50 for normal, 35 for nightmare and 20 for hell
I've always enjoyed your takes and information and generally it goes a bit deeper than other creators in similar niches. You gearing towards hardcore more is def something id be down for but may not be the best 'growing' technique for youtube. But I'd be down.

in this case it's flat numerical, not percentage, but other items are percentage based DR
