You probably need your high drops to be mostly mono green, else it is hard to use the Fanatic mana immediately. Also some really good 3 drops to turn on Fanatic are Guildpact Greenwalker or Outcaster Trailblazer. Trailblazer makes one mana of any color on etb, so you could use that to go cast something like Minsc and Boo on turn 3.

Oh fun last game you had with RNG lol. If thats 17 cards deep, while having 17 hits in 60 cards, and when K≥1, thats 99.891% chance to have hit a red land or a fetch land (before counting in Deathrite). You were very unlucky. Even if you went only 10 cards deep, you still have a 97.456% chance to hit a red land or fetch (when K≥1). At least you were not playing for money lol. (I’ve seen similar odds in poker but you know you have other a 90% chance and you bet accordingly but the underdog actually makes it).
@paramoecium9308 🤔 I'm going to be real. I feel like decks in timeless and historic are very similar nowadays. Maybe if after the rebalancing, energy decks are no longer a thing and the format can differentiate itself from timeless, I will give it a go.
@michaelkaye4689 from my experience combo is about 10% of the ladder. You still got some fighting chance after sideboarding so it's not all that bad. What this deck is after is energy aggro(something you'll see most of time), scam, or even control.
Another thing to note. Rhonas and Phlage make discard spells pretty bad.... Eternalize is kind of messed up.

Historic is dead as long as a timeless T1 deck is playable there, it will be back when the boros energy balance drops
