My 2nd car was a 1966 two door Dodge Dart coupe. [1st car was a ' 58 Dodge two door Coronet with a Ram V-8]. The Dodge Dart had the infamous 6 cylinder 225 slant 6. I drove it until 1972 when I traded it in on a '70 Plymouth Duster 340. The only thing that I had to replace on the Dart in almost 75,000 miles was the alternator and I had to throw in some brake shoes.
Awesome ! The leaning tower of power . My first car was a 66 Valiant 273 V8. My second car was a 81 K car, it was junk.Third car was a 66 Dart 225 slant 6 . I love these old cars ,wished I still had them. Thanks for the memories .
I had 225 Slant 6 Valiant, 1963. Slant 6 engine is a very durable and lots of room to work around. It has a very good pick up, too. I liked the "octopus" intake manifold with tiny 2BBL carb.
When I was 16 I had a 1965 Dodge Dart GT with a 340 4 speed and positive track rear end. The 4 speed was probably the only thing stock. It would take off like a slingshot in a drag race. Never came close to getting beat. Came close to getting killed in it, but not beat 🫤
I always see the 68-70 Dodge Dart in person but never seen 62-67 bodystyles luv maroon red 66 Dart convertible in video Nick clean car for summer droptop 11:15 yeap carb needs adjustment easy fix .
Cheer up 😎✔- my '66 Dart that I had was when I was a 16 year old kid ....in the mid '60's... This dinosaur even has the Polaroid pictures of me, Ray Bans, Foster Grants, and the metallic dark blue '66 Dart to this very day...🤣
Beautiful lil Dart. Great price. Wonder if Joe Dirt saw this one cause it he did he's gonna be jealous cause it won't last long. Love it's a convertible. Love Maple Motor's.
This one looks like good value. Open top cruising, cheap money, nice engine note, not so precious that you can’t drive it every week. A good runner as we say in the UK.
Is it summer weather there , you went from abominable snowman covered to Honolulu weather.,, Awesome car for a 66, 6 cylinder last for Infiniti. 100 yrs easy.

@@michaelcaron7659 WE HAD A 71 DUSTER WHICH WE BOUGHT FROM A FORD DEALERSHIP IN 1971 WITH 15 K ON IT , WE SOLD IT IN 1976 WITH 29K ALWAYS PARKED IN THE GARAGE !!! ,LOVED THAT CAR RUN ALL DAY AT 70 - PLUS ON THE FREEWAY NEVER TICKED OF COURSE WITH THAT LOW OF MILES !!!!
The speedo problem is that the tube where the cable goes through needs to be lubricated,if it is not greased the speedo goes crazy. Back in 1970 I worked at a Chtysler dealership, when we had that problem with a car 😀we just pulled the cable out of the tube and put grease on the cable and put back together, it worked great.,if it did not we had to replace the spedo cable complete
I'm looking for a chick magnet but, don't think this works... I might attract older women like 80-85 yrs old... 😆... however, I'm not a Dart fan either... good price though...
I’ve been wanting a nice driver convertible for cruising with the fam. This is a pretty good deal imo. I’m sure it will sell fast! I’d it doesn’t I may try to get up there from here in Madison

That engine is louder than a Singer Sowing Machine but it is a sweet blast from the past, I would drive it everyday.

I don’t mind a crack in the back seat, but not the dash!
James Garner, car racer and actor (Rockford Files), drove a cement gray '66 in the movie Marlowe (1969).
My grandfather used to get dome in one of those !
Thats funny
He blew a head gasket 🤣😎❓❔❕

Thank you for selling something other than a GM product 👍
Any time!
Hellcat swap will be a monster 👹 of a sleeper
