Just me and the flames? Lol...Any help would be awesome Thank you and keep making the dope walkthroughs!

The amount of times I died just trying to get back from the second dragon’s area is unprecedented. The dragon fight was easy, jumping on the floating stone path is the real challenge.
@13:00 go right right after stairs before the elevator and behind some pots by the banister is a hero 2 rune Also for great shields I like the ICON shield. Looks like a painted shield with a tree and a person. It replenishes health over time has high guard boost and decent damage negate across board. Not super heavy and don’t need a lot of strength.
Cowboy, thank you. You’ve helped me thru Bloodborne DS3 and now my platinum for Elden Ring. Much love bro only walkthroughs I’ll watch are Cowboy walkthroughs. You are the best.
Anyone watching who isn't above a bit of cheeky cheese, you can actually take out the trio of Worm dudes in the water from a safe ranged distance at which they cannot harm you. When Cowboy climbs the long ladder up in the first section of the area kill the worm dude at the end of the platform and grab the item up there but instead of heading back to the ladder look to your right to a section where the wall has crumbled away, this is actually a series of drop offs onto floating rocks. If you drop to the second from last rock you can snipe all three of them in turn one after the other with whatever ranged option is your highest damage. The giant worm guys big aoe death cloud can still reach you if you are too close to the edge - i.e using a bow - but this is a non issue since you have plenty of time to back out of the cloud, it only reaches the very edge, and then start again. Bow and arrow doesn't take very long, ranged spells would do the job even quicker I presume. Its cheesy as fuck but it works haha EDIT: For completionists you can still jump back round the way the Cowboy gets across to go back for the fulgurbloom item, if you don't get it before climbing the ladder.
25:00 for the 2 deaths and larger death monsters, just use a range attack to pull them over 1 at a time. Arrows, daggers, spells. Then summon when you fight the big one. I recommend a range ghost to stay out of death.
Found this when I was playing through my first time and was lost in this area now after months of not playing im lost again in the same area and im realizing just how in-depth this walk through is like every enemy and their position as well as all the loot locations its crazy and im glad i have this reference
At time stamp 13:00 before getting on elevator to go down, look in SW corner behind pots and against wall is a Hero's Rune #2. Smash the pots, of course.
Also how i play it, i want to be suprised behind every corner and when i cleared the area and am sure that i am not coming back, i check the corresponding episode. Super helpfull :)
Same. I just started a new character a while ago, and I've been consulting the videos for anything forgot. It's also been helpful because usually I do magic builds, and I've been playing with a similar quality build to what he's using
For those of you who can't use a greatshield for what ever reason, you can achieve the same weapon bouncing off shield effect versus the beast men simply by using the barricade shield ash of war on a medium shield.
For anyone looking for a excellent greatshield farm the Mausoleum Knight outside Black Knife Catacombs to get his Eclipse Greatshield it increases your immunity to all the statuses by +50 and it’s a greatshield. It has carried me till the end of the game with upgrades. You can’t go wrong with it.

FC! Man you’re the best! I have watched every single one of your From walkthroughs. It’s understated how much time and effort it would take to actually create these. I honestly would never have the patience to do this. But you my friend are a legend.
I dunno if this dragon got an attack speed buff or what, but that one at around 14 mins is without any doubt the hardest boss in the entire game. When he starts swinging he can hit you 4-5 times perfectly timed so you can't even put an input in you're just on the ground and as soon as you stand up but before you can block or dodge again you're hit again. Or, he'll hit you 2 or 3 times so you're at maybe 1/3 health and he'll start breathing fire before you can get up. Never had an issue with him in multiple playthroughs when the game came out. Now he can hardly be hit, he just stun locks you. Absurd.
Everyone, at 20:28 the easiest thing to do with the 3 enemies is to pull the smaller ones one at a time back behind the bigger one then attack the big guy alone.
Once again I recommend the otherwise useless Inseparable sword for the undead later on. You do not need to use the enchantment, just normal hits will kill out right. At least at plus 9.
For the fight with all the worm faces - summon the Greatshield spirit ash. They’re immune to deathblight and will completely surround the larger worm face.
just a tip for anyone using twiggy cracked tear or the sacrificial twig when fighting the wormfaces, it does not save your runes if you die from deathblight. if you die to a melee attack from them you're fine but if you get blighted like cowboy at 20:57 your will have a bloodstain as if you weren't using a twig.
Pro tip: Those doing faith build or strength-faith should farm envoys longhorn in Lyndell before burning the erdtree. Get Envoys crown as headset, and scorpion charm which boosts holy attacks. Longhorns will melt the dragons. Im currently doing this for my farum azula run
medium shields with the barricade ash of war make them bounce about as much as greatshields without it - i just used one of the brass shields from limgrave for pretty much my whole playthrough
Cowboy youre the freaking man dude thank you for your guides and your voice and humor has always lifted my spirits throughout my time playing elden ring. Peace and blessings to you man thank you so much for sacrificing so much time and energy to help us all enjoy the elden ring experience fully. Much appreciated bro 🤝
Hey, just wanted to say again, this walkthrough is amazing. I realize the hours it takes to actually follow it is a small fraction of the time it takes to create it. Thank you so much. You rock. You're a funny bastard as well. :)
That first dragon fight was tough. I was relieved when you said the second dragon was easier, but it gave me *way* more trouble than the first. It almost never put its head or torso anywhere I could hit it. After about 8 deaths I ended up just throwing dragonwound grease on my greatsword and hitting it in the ankles until it died
I didn't find this area too bad when done cautiously. The dang Haligtree though that place can go kick rocks. I fell so many times on the first tree area. The canopy. Apparently my tarnished never climbed trees as a child.
Lightning Faith Build here & I died more in Deeproot than anywhere. That trained me well for Haligtree. With Bolt of Gransax I was able to annihilate all three enemy types in the canopy w/o a single bit of damage. Until the last envoy above the ladder. He wiped me out several times until I decided to bubble up and make a run for it. If you’re playing quality or class w/o dedicated range weapons, strap on that greatbow with the purple rain ash (Waves of Darkness) lock on and watch them all perish.
I got a dialog with Melena on the palace approach ledge that sounded kinda threatening. She said she was created by her mother for a purpose but that now she was acting of her own accord do things the way she wants to do them and won't have have anyone gainsay her vision... not even you. Yes with the three... and a lowered steely tone of voice. This isn't exactly what she said, I can't remember the exact words but it was basically she's doing things her way and ignoring her mothers purpose for her, she has a vision she wants to happen and won't have anyone disagreeing with it.
I accidentally took on the frenzy flame in an earlier episode by working ahead. The only time I did that the entire series and what a time to have that happen lol. At this point, I guess I select listen to the sounds of the flame instead? Hopefully, I can still achieve all these endings in this order. I guess I'll turn off auto sync from now in case.
The Incantation, Order Healing, removes and restrains death blight like the boluses. Pretty affordable also. twice on the first ancient dragon, Tiche just starts walking into the back wall and won't attack. Not sure how long this bug has lived. 30:50 never noticed the head & arms popping off before 😂
Finally revisiting ER to play shadow of the erdtree and your walkthrough is as clutch as it was back at launch ❤ enjoying the game so much. And I forgot so many shi* 😂
well the one thing that is very helpful in these videos is cowboy showing every location thoroughly and getting the items. but if you haven’t pumped levels to 60 vigor, strength and dexterity then you will have a very different experience. watching him take hits like nothing from that first dragon is very different than me at 35 vigor using an intelligent build.
Next fromsoft game needs a fighting cowboy as a boss first phase fist fighting second phases great gunsword final Fantasy style keep up the fantastic work man you are awesome
at the beginning, about the beastment: "when they hit, they're gonna hurt" me with moghwyn's sacred spear +10 "oops I fell off the ledge in a bad spot! *bloodboon* aaanndd they're all dead."
i watch these vids after i've been roughly through an area to see what i missed where, i should have made an exception . I fell for his knockback and throw you out off the edge stuff twice XD
@FightinCowboy...Man your videos have been a life saver and real fun to follow. Great work. Black Flame Protection is so good. Nearly blocks everything..for a while anyway.
My first time through that gazebo area, I got death blighted a few seconds after killing the last worm face and had to trek all the way back. Fortunately, the big bastard doesn’t respawn if you killed him your first time there.
I've literally been stuck at this area for 6 months because I have dyscalculia and have no sense of direction so thank you. I just wanna beat the game and i can't find the nextt boss
How exactly does Holy damage work? I'm using the coded sword on the undead skeleton things but still needed to hit them when they was on the floor? Thought Holy damage was supposed to kill them outright? 🤔
@@dannycolwell8028 yeah seems to be that way, strange why it's done like that though, if it's a holy based weapon anyway it should do what it's intended without having to use the skill attached to it, not that it's was to much of a problem with all the weapons I have leveled up so still killed them easily enough 🙂
@@Kellzenful Just split damage like any other. Only when weapons are imbued or some other holy effect produced by AoWs will undead perma-die. This is why I pack a few pots whenever I go grave digging, 1-shots most undead and they don't get back up.
if you struggle against the big death thing guys. Then use Zamor Curved sword. I upgradet it to 10 but the frost from the ash of war is so strong against them, Almost one shotting them. Just start the battle with the ash of war and hit them 2 times and they are down
Also, while you're fighting those Wormie Thingies, put on your "Prince of Death's Cyst" since you have it anyway and you've been following the guide. Raises your Vitality 140 pts and you're not so insta-killed when you get thrown-up on.
Hey man the gravel stone is actually a huge thing for me. Need those to craft ancient dragon lightning pots. Gravel stone is so annoying to farm. Love it. Haha
On top of being difficult and tedious to farm, all ingredients that are highlighted blue or gold (noticeable when you pick them up) don't respawn in the world after picking them up. So that's all those "useless" Nascent Butterlies, Trina's and Miquella's Lilllies, Arteria Leaves, and Sacramental Buds (the key ingredient for Rot Boluses).
My friend is on new game+ and he said that you keep all your inventory but you don't get to keep the Bell Bearings for the stones/glovewort, so you'll need to buy up a bunch before you start new game+ or upgrade everything you can before you go to new game+. I didn't ask him about Great Runes or anything else.
@@IvanRubin yeah you get to keep all that stuff for new game+ so you might want to either buy a bunch of stones and Ghost/Grave Glovewort or spend the runes to upgrade any weapons, items, Ash Summons, etc. before you finish your 1st playthrough so you don't have to wait during new game+ to acquire the materials to upgrade things. I assume you keep all your cookbooks, larval tears, celestial dews, etc. as well.
The beastmen here were pretty weak to my lightning spears and took heavy damage even when blocking with their jar shields. Their shield can be dropped and has decent lightning resist too which I thought was strange.
Loving the tutorial and its format. Looking into respec my level 154 character into a battle mage / spell blade character. Any suggestions on where to allocate my points and tips on equipment, spell and weapon choices.
I like your walktrhoughs for showing the actual fights and enemy location as they sometimes like to jump out from unexpected corners - its much more helpful than just showing the simple run across cleared areas. These wormfaces are one of the most off-putting enemies in the game, they constantly spit some sh*it around which is quite enough to avoid them. The other creeps on the top of my list are revenants and those giant hands of all sorts xd
Can't believe I got over 300 hours 😫 on this game. I believe Ark and chivalry are only games I ever got over 150 hours. Just amazing 👏 how massive and interesting a dead world can be. My first souls game and won't be my last
Glad you are enjoying it. I have loved playing all the souls type games since the original Demons souls game that I bought on Japanese import at the time as it hadn't been released in the UK at that time (i would have waited but magazines, yes the ones made out of paper, said they weren't going to release a European version! Oh how times have changed). If you are going to play other Souls games, just be aware they are not as massive as this one. Truly... Elden Ring is on a scale all it's own imho. But Cowboy's walkthroughs are always entertaining.

If your having trouble with the 2nd dragon on the small platform try not locking on and staying by its feet. Thats what worked for me
I didn't find this area too bad when done cautiously. The dang Haligtree though that place can go kick rocks.
I fell so many times on the first tree area. The canopy. Apparently my tarnished never climbed trees as a child.
Took me like 2 hours or so to finally get through the canopy phase 🤦
This isn't exactly what she said, I can't remember the exact words but it was basically she's doing things her way and ignoring her mothers purpose for her, she has a vision she wants to happen and won't have anyone disagreeing with it.
same, i exited game and everything and i cant talk to her now or have her sacrifice herself for the burning of the tree..
The only thing keeping this game from being perfect is the dragon fights. The camera is the enemy
Yesss keep the uploads coming in on my second play through and I using this to 100%
I accidentally took on the frenzy flame in an earlier episode by working ahead. The only time I did that the entire series and what a time to have that happen lol. At this point, I guess I select listen to the sounds of the flame instead? Hopefully, I can still achieve all these endings in this order. I guess I'll turn off auto sync from now in case.
2024 and still watching. Great video bro
Awesome content you helped me a lot when I was playing dark Souls 1
Good player 🗡️
Good walkthrough 🗡️
Kool sounding voice 🗡️
Asmr voice. Put these walkthroughs on with screen turned dim when I can’t sleep
well the one thing that is very helpful in these videos is cowboy showing every location thoroughly and getting the items. but if you haven’t pumped levels to 60 vigor, strength and dexterity then you will have a very different experience. watching him take hits like nothing from that first dragon is very different than me at 35 vigor using an intelligent build.
If you use the bewitching branches on the worm heads they just stand still while you kill them.
i remember i watched episode one of this walkthrough to get a general idea, got through all of it until now at episode 72
Next fromsoft game needs a fighting cowboy as a boss first phase fist fighting second phases great gunsword final Fantasy style keep up the fantastic work man you are awesome
It kinda hurts to watch this walkthrough after my own playthrough. It shows me how many areas I missed
at the beginning, about the beastment: "when they hit, they're gonna hurt"
me with moghwyn's sacred spear +10 "oops I fell off the ledge in a bad spot! *bloodboon* aaanndd they're all dead."
I started parrying and countering- immediately gave me Seikro vibes
Charged R2's using the Dark Moon Greatsword +9's Moonlight Greatsword skill melts the Wormfaces.
i watch these vids after i've been roughly through an area to see what i missed where, i should have made an exception . I fell for his knockback and throw you out off the edge stuff twice XD
@FightinCowboy...Man your videos have been a life saver and real fun to follow. Great work. Black Flame Protection is so good. Nearly blocks everything..for a while anyway.
Before going down the elevator, there's a Hero's Rune to the right after you go outside towards the elevator
This place is definitely the "your in the endgame now boy" type of difficulty.
Between that 2nd dragon and the large death guys.... I died a LOT.
Following the way I have and looking up videos has me starting at haligtree company after fire giant, just as a heads up for ya and all others
How exactly does Holy damage work? I'm using the coded sword on the undead skeleton things but still needed to hit them when they was on the floor? Thought Holy damage was supposed to kill them outright? 🤔
Not 100% sure but might you have to activate the weapon art to trigger the holy damage?
This is my first fromsoft game, and I’ve had to look up a guide for every single major legacy dungeon since I have no idea where I’m supposed to go.
I tried out the swarm incantation on this dragon and it actually did some work on him.
22.20 Cowboy got unlucky. I’ve done that rerun three times after getting death blighted and the beast men never followed me as far as the lift 🤣
When you go to new game + what do you keep? Can you still buy all your sitting stones it does it start over? What about your weapons and great runes?
Great question I would like answered too! 😨
@@joeyjones9041 what about weapons that you upgrade and all the somber stones you acquired throughout your play through ?
@@IvanRubin yeah you get to keep all that stuff for new game+ so you might want to either buy a bunch of stones and Ghost/Grave Glovewort or spend the runes to upgrade any weapons, items, Ash Summons, etc. before you finish your 1st playthrough so you don't have to wait during new game+ to acquire the materials to upgrade things. I assume you keep all your cookbooks, larval tears, celestial dews, etc. as well.
The beastmen here were pretty weak to my lightning spears and took heavy damage even when blocking with their jar shields. Their shield can be dropped and has decent lightning resist too which I thought was strange.
lightning goes through shirlds i think the dmg type lol
Loving the tutorial and its format. Looking into respec my level 154 character into a battle mage / spell blade character. Any suggestions on where to allocate my points and tips on equipment, spell and weapon choices.
Can you return up ad the beginning in that bridge? I didn't take that smithing stone.
Just what I was looking for 🙏
Watching this and having nightmares of how many times everything has killed me through out this dungeon haha
i just beat the DLC, im back to finish the base game Ty Cowboy!
Those banished knights go down easy with the Blasphemous Blade.
I strayed off a bit and got the Hand of Malenia, Wat a cool weapon art.
Love the way you still had time to pick some golden shit up while nearly dying to wormface 🤣
Getting ready for the DLC let’s gooooo
I'm almost 300 too lol
On my first playthough, should i do the DLC before this part and circle back to this when it's done?
The dragon one shot me lol
Should I make a back up save now? Im not trying to play multple NG+s right now
The big worm guy can be killed by bow. Just aggravate him then run back the way you jumped down, just jump up a level and shoot from safety.
Nice video bro. Def subscribing now
i bought elden ring yesterday and just beat fire giant not long ago this helped
