Your car or bike is causing problems and you need to get it repaired or serviced, which of these two should you opt for - Local Garage VS Authorized Service Centre? It is very natural for this question to erupt in every vehicle owners mind. Most car or bike owners remain in a state of confusion whether to go or not to go for professional service centres or, simply the ‘Nukkad’ wala mechanic will be able to fix their problem. Going for professional vehicle repair service will certainly give you peace of mind while the local garage mechanic will be quiet nice on your pocket. Be it a new or used car, there are a lot of considerations, speculations, and expectations that people tend to have.
Why you should choose an authorised service centre
WARRANTY ISSUE: If your car or motorcycle is under warranty, you must go to an authorised service centre without having a second thought. It's actually a no-brainer.

For oil change, air filter replacement and water washing local garage is best...But when it comes to engine related work i prefer authorised service centre..
Aaj kal authorised service centre ke mechanics ko target allot kr dia jata hai..ki monthly ya weekly tumhe itne amount ka bill banwa kr company ka fayda krwana hai..is pr kuch percentage invective bhi rehta hai unka aur ye baat btane wala insaan khud service center ka mechanic hi hai..agar wo esa nhi krte aur company ko additional profit generate kr ke nhi dete to unhe koi incentive nhi milta sirf basic salary hi milti hai.. is tarah se company wale kamate hain aur unnecessary money burden customer ke pocket pr pdta hai.. jo parts change krne layak nahi hote..unhe bhi change kr dia jata hai unnecessary bill amount badhane ke liye..pehle kaafi trust worthy hua krte the authorise service centers..ab wo purely business centric ho gye hain..ese time pe mechanic ke sath personal relations hi kaam aate hain chahe wo service center ka ho ya local garage ka..👍🏻

local garage standard scooty belt maintenance and carburator check 200₹ . service center 1000₹ or so. and you dont get to see the operation. while local garage me either aaram se baith ke dekho nhi to mechanic ke sath mechanic ban jao for that moment.

Service center wale jyada kaam nikalte hain, jo kaam nahi hai gadi main woh kaam nikalte hain parts bechne ke liye. Main jyada tar authorised service centre se hi kaam karwata tha lekin waha badi dhokebaazi hoti hain, do teen baar service center mein kaam karvane ke baad bhi mujhe local garage se karvana pada tab se meine local garage se hi kaam karwata hun, banda imandaar hai aur kaam service center wale bando se jyada accha hain. Aur jaha tak parts ki baat hain mein authorised original parts kharid kar local se lag wata hun. Kyunki SC wale har parts ke alag alag service charge or tax lagwate hain aur 2 se 3 chakkar lagwate hain tabhi satisfaction hota hai aur sahi kaam hota hai.
My bike is CB Unicorn and I give it to both authorized and local servicing too. Mostly to localities.

Hello sir...fristly main yeh kehna chahata hoon..aapki videos se bahut knowledge milti hai...thank u aapka experince share ke liye.....secondly mere pass pulsar135 LS hai 2015 manifucutre hai...1 jan 2016 registered hai...main agency se kaam karvata tha jiss person se usne aapna khud ka garage open kar lia hai....or specialy pulsar bikes ka expert hai...agency se kaam karana es liye bnd kiya kyunki wahan jo chaee paani pilane wale ladke hai...wohi aab bike service karte hai....

Just had my servicing today of my suzuki gixxer 155 2019 naked model at Suzuki service centre malda, they are quite cooperative.They let people watch the servicing through a glass window and if any query Or problem in vehicle they allow personal appearance of the customers at the workshop.

I prefer local garaj because hamare yaha ka authorised wale all are money hoggers and we also dont know what they does inside because sometimes we don’t get cctv live footage

Just now I booked the Suzuki burgeman bs6 top end model so I need to know that should I prefer Suzuki Authorized service center or my reference of local garage. I am always trust my local garage because so many years I am servicing my Honda activa 3g.. And their work are best. जी मेरे पास Bajaj Boxer BM 150 हैं मेरा अनुभव बाहर के तकनीशियन से ही अच्छा रहा क्योंकि मैंने आथोराईज्ड सर्विस सेंटर में ही सर्विस करवाता था सर्विस करवाने के अगले दिन ही गाडी खराब होने के बावजूद वो मानने को ही तैयार नहीं हुऐ कि पार्ट उन्होंने बदला ही नहीं। और वही पार्ट मैंने बाहर के तक्नीशियन से करवाया तो गाडी बहुत ही अच्छा काम करने लग गई उस अनुभव को देखते हुए मैंने बाहर से ही सर्विस करवाने का निर्णय लिया जो आज तक बहुत अच्छा रहा क्योंकि वह मेरी गाड़ी की हर समस्या से वाकिफ हैं जो पार्ट नया लगाना है वह पहले ही बता देते हैं उसे मैं आथोराईज्ड कंपनी के स्टोर से खरीद कर लगवा लेता हूँ।

Authoritized service bebakuf banate hai. They do nothing. Not even allow customer to go inside we just have to blindly trust them. Last free service pe to bike deliberately khrp kar dete hai. One of my friend who used to work on service center authorised told me. They were instructed to do co by the local owners .
General service me kitna mechanic charge lagega sir aur repair me mechanic charge kitna lagta he generally
