I had lots of after surgery fluid drainage manual massages done by a professional and I still feel some tenderness and mild pain on the skin to the touch but nothing to be concerned with, well that is what I think. Unfortunately it may be a few months. They have been flying off the shelves and we have been working with the manufacturer for a little while to get production rolling, pardon the pun, but it is a complicated process and so it has been slow.
Hi Doctor thank you for the videos, is a manual roller and a vibrating platform have the same effect as the vibrating roller? Or is it better to have the roller that vibrates?
The vibration of the roller is used to open the lymphatic channels. I don't think a platform can do the same thing.
DR. WHAT ABOUT THE VIBRATING PLATFORM, I HAVE 1 AT HOME, IS IT GOOD?
That's what I plan to do, use my vibration plate. Did it work for you?
@@mrsmac1664 I haven't had lipo yet, but even tho it helps for lymph and circulation, I don't think you could replace the massages with it anyway. Vibration will help get loose, and then you need to push liquids to the lymph node, and massage for fibrosis. That would make sense for me but don't follow my advice, I'm no one lol
I got one and it is nice but it broke after a month. However, the customer service is great. I would purchase this product for sure. I the faja is also great.

hi! I was just watching this and I think I might be ordering one! my clinic said wait at least 6 weeks before rolling ( got lipo 360 &bbl)...im five weeks in but I feel like my lower abdomen is little like if I was a little bloated will your roller help? I have a regular roller but seeing yours I want to try!
I have all of my patients start to roll on the day of surgery. I think rolling is absolutely wonderful and very under utilized after surgery. I would roll as often as you can. It is not too late to start to roll.

Where to we roll towards after inner thigh lipo? And do we do the same downwards technique for our back? And what about for arm lipo? Where do we roll towards then? And if we can do this ourselves or with the help of someone we brought with us, do we need to pay for and get massages from a massage person?

Not for a few months sadly. There is a production delay. We started to plan a run many months ago so I wouldn't run out, but they went pretty fast and then this is made worse by a computer chip problem in the mother board. It sounds pretty minor to me, but for some reason is taking a very long time to resolve. So sorry. Will keep you posted.

Should we use the roller over the faja or once we take it off?
Start on top of the faja on the same day of surgery and then when your skin becomes less painful over the first few days you start to use it directly on the skin.
@@DrWilliamMiami can I use the lipo boards directly after surgery for the best results?
Lipo boards are used in the front part of the abdomen and the back and worn under the faja for two weeks after surgery and then stopped. Compression for too long leads to fibrosis.
Can you use this if you cant find a post op lymphatic masseuse? I am struggling to find one but need an alternative to drain after surgery
If you apply it lightly but on high vibration and roll in one direction towards the all the lymph nodes in the groin it acts like a manual lymphatic drainage tool. I always suggest ten traditional massages and 5 lymphatic massages after liposuction in addition to using the roller.
Doctor I'm 7 weeks post op, i just purchased my roller. My question is for how many minutes show i use the roller each day?
You can't over use it so there is no maximum time but if you could use it for 15 minutes twice a day that would be great.

It is best to roll from day one but you can still gain benefit from rolling at 3 months but you must do it for a full twelve months.

So you can use this right after surgery right? How long should you roll for and this will help with lumps?
YES!! The earlier, more often and the longer the better. Start with a good amount of pressure and roll up and down. It will also help to express fluid early on. Then after a week you can turn on the vibration and ALSO use it as an automatic MLD (manual lymphatic drainage) roller. For this you use the vibration mode and LIGHTLY work it over your stomach starting up high under the breasts and working towards all the lymph nodes in your groin.

It just warms up enough so it doesn't feel cold against your skin but it is not hot.

I'm had liposuction last week Monday but my stomach looks the same, my doctor told me that effects will show in 3 to 6 months. But I've watched videos here of before and after surgery and there is great difference. Please how true is my doctor?
Liposuction results are immediate. What takes time is for the swelling to start and then resolve, and for the skin to get soft and that takes several months to occur but if you don't notice liposuction results on day 1 you will never see them.

You'd have to discuss that with your surgeon. I like to wait 12 months in between liposuctions to wait for the tissue to heal and soften and allow the blood supply to completely heal.
In Africa we don't hve that roller what can we use to have soft skin
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) massages are a good substitute. The Ogee Roller is really a MLD tool so if you don't have access to it I would get MLD massages for the skin.

I don't know to be honest. It is always easier to prevent fibrosis than to treat it once the scar tissue has hardened. If you did want to try to use the roller I would use it with light pressure and high vibration to use it as a manual lymphatic drainage tool.

How soon can tou start rolling after lipo?
Start on the day of surgery. Only very light pressure on the first day and then more pressure as tolerated and then also you can use the roller to perform manual lymphatic drainage on yourself with light pressure and the vibration turned on and in that setting you massage it lightly towards your groins where the lymph nodes are.
Can you do this at 8 months?

I starting using the triangular radio frequency home device about every 3 to 4 days and it really broke down the harder inner tissue and bumps. I am at 5.5 weeks.
Are you getting massages? I’m not lumpy but swollen but flat. I get massages but they say the roller is to early in the first 4 weeks
You should get some professional post op care if you are beginning to get lumpy. If you can’t get proper postop care get a dry skin brush and gently brush up towards your heart to promote proper lymphatic flow. No rf or body contouring tools should be used if you are still swollen although RF can be helpful in softening up hard spots you don’t want to accidentally cause any other skin abnormalities.
