Basically you have to have all the op commanders to compete or atleast it feels that way. I do have all the op commanders and the ships play alot better with them.
It doesn’t make it impossible, but commanders/strong ships help lower the impact RNG has. A great example is Gneisnau vs Scharnhorst, essentially the same ship, so why do so many people prefer Scharnhorst? 9 guns vs 6, RNG will have less of an impact on your game. Commanders do the same thing, they can boost or decrease fire chance, boost reloads and dispersion factors by noticeable margins. Aka, these people playing their tier 8 campaign ships, who are at a disadvantage in terms of: skill, knowledge, commander, and ship, end up dying ASAP, and ruining games for the people who know how to play. I am sorry but cv's do not need another nerf, uk now has a 4.5 minute restoration time, Shoukaku has been nerfed to the ground her stock I would say is basically unplayable 6100 torp alpha with less HP and they are even slower now with an increased restoration time might as well fail div a Ryujou into t7 as if you have stock Shoukaku Ryujou does her job but better.
If only independium can rival stalinium. And I honestly like USN Aviation Battleships with the way they look and I hope Kearsarge does become a campaign ship in the next year.

Enterprise has that historic and Sci-Fi element...no surprise it's being rolled out for the Star Trek promo but I don't see me getting it...CV's still don't interest me. They appear to be very two dimensional right now, ya don't need brains to play a ship class that has unlimited planes...it's brainless gameplay for the brainless to be brainless and proud of it, maybe this nerf will help mitigate the brainlessness out there. I'm glad they left the Columbo alone for another 4-5 weeks. 😜 For me, it's been easily 6 months of mostly underwhelming campaign ships with the exception of the Lushun , this has been quite a spell of boredom for WG...but hey, what's not exciting to me is another blokes Mardi Gras, i suppose.

They made it a san Diego basically with mrb.I usually only get the admiralty backing. Ill probably wait till next year for the legendary tier hybrid. I spent way to much money in the first 4 years . The one good thing is that i can use mobile for the calendar
Personally think that carriers except for a few of them are in a pretty good spot currently. The upcoming nerfs to most of them seem highly overtuned, to the point where they are worse than they were before the got buffed and tweaked. Will have to see when it goes live, but think the russian cvs for sure will be deplaned very fast, as you have 0 choice on your squadron size. British have atrocious restoration times now, but can at least pre drop to not have full squadrons.
Reduced for shokaku bro I grandes so hard to get it and the buff didn't do much for shoakaku every other Carrier is better leave it be unless you are going to up the torps
Was hoping to see the spotter plane and catapult fighter get restored so they could actually spot again for the team. Or at least be able to spot for the ship that sent it up! Oh well

Completely halted the flow on that side of the map, didn't really have a weakness to being citadelled because it's super thick bekt is slopped; I could go on I'm just nervous about them adding Krem in our smaller games, that are "closer," with less dpm added
I’m sorry WG, by creating a problem and instead of fixing it you instead decide to sell the solution to the problem for money is just a giant FU to your loyal customers for the last 4 years. For me Enterprise will be the last ship I get for historical reason, I can’t in good conscience support such a money hungry company, WG is literally turning the game into cash grab mobile game.
I am actually excited for this campaign. Enterprise has such a cool history and I can't wait to spread some freedom with her even though I am not much of a CV player. I honestly would not mind getting the alternate American CV line from pc soon as well so I can use Yorktown because she was a pretty bad ass ship as well.
