I mean all I can see was that they had gone crazy with the scaling of the fight. There was a thing mentioned in the past as to whether Garou or Boros was stronger, but in the manga they keep increasing the Bar as to how far the fights would get. And story wise I think it's great with them showing God a lot more cause I feel like like seeing him now as this threatening and then showing Garou with his powers is how we can actually feel that he is a terrifying being.

The final showdown between him and Saitama happened on Earth and it was just Monster Garou vs Saitama, the manga took the powerscaling to an absurd level. My take? Both are great, i adored the absurdity of the powerscaling in the manga, but also enjoyed the simplicity of the webcomic.
