How to : Germinate musa and ensete banana seeds

I already posted a few but promised to make a follow up with some first results. Well here it is.
I am not a weekly poster, i know that but my life is very hectic with 2 jobs and taking care of an elderly.

Mine has started germinating, the shoot is around 2.5cm tall (an inch and a bit), at what size should i move it to a normal pot with different soil?

Wait untill 10cm

How do you keep your medium from getting mildew?

Probably by using more perlite or vermiculite in the mix. Some people even put the medium first in the microwave but i never did that. Also using cocospeat is a thing you can do.
