I do not increase. Make the brim the size you need. Then one single crochet at the end of each row. Then the bean stitch. If you want to go wider, just put more bean stitches in your first row, placed randomly. So don’t skip a stitch.
There are many people who crochet left handed. I crochet right handed and then make a second video and edit/flip the images. I want everyone to be able to enjoy my patterns and this makes it much easier. 👍🏼
