That's a really interesting device, oh boy oh boy oh boy..I paused that video many times at the end and watched that amazing layout and man.. you need a big hall or something to fit all your creativeness and art to somewhere.. it's just so amazing to watch small scale train yards and stuff that looks so realistic.. keep making that art Evans :)
Hiya Nicholas, thank you for commenting my friend, It is a great control system which is probably the best dc controller at the moment, of course it's nothing like the dcc systems, but it can be used in conjunction with other dc add ons like sound capsules etc..
That looks good Digger. I was eyeing up a system last week...a bit more than 0-10 and forward/reverse. Thanks for showing the HM6000 system, Digger. Keep Well, chap. Cheers
hiya Flymo this is a great little control system for very little money, but a big improvement over the dial system, thanks for watching and commenting my friend
Hi, looks good and at a reasonable price. You mentioned about jumping from one thing to another, I do the same, working on one thing at a time just doesn't happen, have to change every so often! John
Yes it works for me that way I usually switch tasks when I've reached a stopping point either waiting for fresh supplies or just getting over whelmed with the task, many thanks for your input John
Hey Digger. Hope you are safe and well. I’ve just bought a couple of the 6000 controllers and the 6010 accessory controller. They are in my trunk at Hattons waiting for me to collect them on my next bike ride. I’m looking forward to setting them up. Regards….. Steve 👍
Hiya James many thanks, I was expecting a much higher price in honesty, but the power transformer has to be bought separately and that was almost £20 posted
Wow what a great controller setup for you Digger. The layout looks like it is coming on really well. I like your hill or cliff scene, Take care and all the best. Kevin
Planned "kaos" on a layout allows for the jumpi9ng around from one job to another.m I have found that this helps keep my interest since when I get frustrated on one item I go to another only to return when I have thought through a solution to the original issue. :)
Hiya Steve, there is a method in my madness then, sometimes it's better to switch tasks when you hit the wall of ennui other wise I end up making a big mess, many thanks my friend
That's a neat bit of kit. So you can have sound without the sound decoders? Good money saving idea. I think the sound you can't identify is wagons being coupled/ uncoupled. Keith
Hiya Keith, thanks for commenting yes the sound is basic but i think that will improve as they update the app,I think you are right it's coupling and uncoupling of wagons thanks for that it would have me baffled for a long time.
It looks good Digger. I have found Hornby's control systems to have been the pioneers in the hobby but they don't seem to follow through with the support and development. Perhaps this will be different. Regards, David.
Hiya David my friend, I'm hoping they are treating this differently, so far it has been a very successful seller and there is an accessories controller available as well, it certainly seems a lot better than the conventional dial controllers and is more fun to use too, I think they have broken the mold with this one
Hiya Nicky honestly mate there's a tutorial on yet by Hornby that talks you through it step by step, it's really easy if you can connect your phone to a Bluetooth device like a printer etc.. you will have no trouble with this
Bit like me Digger my friend always starting a project and never finish them, the controller looks good , I’m on dc and wired for two tracks with block sections . I guess I’d switch all sections on when using this controller. Does this provide the power to the track . Regards Fred
Hiya Fred my friend, I think most of us are guilty of jumping from one task to another at sometime without finishing. The unit provides power to the track, but you have to buy the transformer for the unit separately, I just disconnected my old controller and connected the track wires to the new unit and it was fine, I have to say this is a much better system than previous ones.
I have tried over and over again to get this to work without success. I've looked on here and other reviews still not working. Blue light on but it keeps saying loco not assigned. When I scan for the device it doesn't find anything. So sending back to suppliers
Hiya David my friend, in my opinion it is way better than the gaugemaster control I can make really fine adjustments to the operating speeds using this controller braking and slowing down as well as acceleration rates
I've got one it's ok but wouldn't say very impressed theres no real speed control can have it on 10 and train speed be the same as on 20 so I'll be using my duet twin far better controller

Amazing set up . Absolutely brilliant
Thank you so much my friend I appreciate your kind words.
I have something similar and I love it. Thanks for sharing. Dave
Thanks Dave
Very nice digger, I can see lots of different uses for this especially as it's dc and bluetooth, thanks for sharing! All the best Tony
Hiya Tony it is a very good piece of equipment many thanks
Nice video Digger that is a great controller for those who want more realistic DC control without having to convert to DCC.- Nicholas.
Hiya Nicholas, thank you for commenting my friend, It is a great control system which is probably the best dc controller at the moment, of course it's nothing like the dcc systems, but it can be used in conjunction with other dc add ons like sound capsules etc..
awesome Digger, looks like a great buy mate... nice👍🏻
Thanks Neil it's really easy to use
Digger, That is a very neat and inexpensive tool for your model railroad.... John
Hiya John Thanks for commenting my friend, it really is a big improvement over the conventional dc controls
Looks really good mate, hope you have many hours of enjoyment with your new controller
Thanks Kevin it's easier to use and gives much more control than the older system
Very nice video my friend Digger.

That is a cool controller, price is great, I ordered the WFD-31 wifi interface from Australia cost me 150 CAD plus I need my NCE pro cab
Hiya James many thanks, I was expecting a much higher price in honesty, but the power transformer has to be bought separately and that was almost £20 posted
these are so modern now, way different to the one my friend had as a kid - thanks for showing
Yes it's a recent development and it's a very welcome improvement on the older system, thank you for watching and commenting my friend

Very good Digger atb mate Andy
thanks Andy
Had mine yesterday
That's good I think it's one of the best product Hornby has developed in a long time
These look really good , they’re tempting I probably would need 2 to run my layout, how easy are they to set up digger?
Hiya Nicky honestly mate there's a tutorial on yet by Hornby that talks you through it step by step, it's really easy if you can connect your phone to a Bluetooth device like a printer etc.. you will have no trouble with this
Nice informative video Digger, are they just for DC locomotives? Simon
Hi Simon many thanks my friend, yes they are a dc control, far better than the old dial system I think.
Is this an APP you downloaded ? Pretty cool setup .
Hi Jerry my friend, yes you buy the controller and power transformer, and you download the app for free from Hornby
Bit like me Digger my friend always starting a project and never finish them, the controller looks good , I’m on dc and wired for two tracks with block sections . I guess I’d switch all sections on when using this controller. Does this provide the power to the track . Regards Fred

Yeah thats the vbest solution Trevor
Interesting, a lot cheaper than the DCC options
It's a really great system very easy to use and very cost friendly

Hiya David my friend, in my opinion it is way better than the gaugemaster control I can make really fine adjustments to the operating speeds using this controller braking and slowing down as well as acceleration rates

Can you get 2 devices on one box?
Hi Theo yes you can run two tracks and some added devices too

Hi Ashly did you try manipulating the set up controls, once your happy with the set upu you can get some fine speed control
