  • 1kg beef cubes
    1.5cups ghee
    for masala
    6 black cardamom
    8to9 green cardamom
    1tsp whole black peppercorns
    12 to 14 cloves
    3 bay leaves
    3to 4 cinnamon stick
    3tbsp whole coriander
    1tbsp fennel seeds
    1whole flower of mace
    1 nutmeg
    4.5 to 5 tsp red chilli powder
    3tsp salt
    2tsp turmeric
    1tbsp white cumin
    1tbsp ginger powder
    1tbsp garlic powder
    3tbsp onion powder (grind all spices to a fine powder in a grinder)
    for lentil mixture
    2cup whole wheat
    half cup pink daal masoor
    half cup maashki daal
    half cup channay ki daal
    half cup moong daal
    mix all lentils with wheat and store in air tight jar.
    for turka
    3to 4 medium onions sliced
    1.5 cup ghee for frying Tarka
    ginger julienne, green chillies chopped, freshly chopped corriendor, brown onions for garnishing
