It was fun listening to this video. I decided to go Fungus tribal with a Superfriends sub-theme. It doesn't win much, but I haven't seen a similar deck yet...
Peter here! It was in my initial draft of the deck, but I ended up cutting it in favor of more interaction and keeping the lower costing proliferate engines. It’s a great card for any Atraxa build, so it’s definitely something I consider no matter what orientation the deck ends up being. But in this case, Flux Channeler is a little cheaper and works for most everything since I only have 8 other creatures in the deck.
@@CommandValley those are solid reasons. You see I got the idea because my brother plays a Nico Bolos walkers deck and Tide does very well in his deck, but he plays way to many wraths to consider Flux Channeler

Hi i am new to superfriend and also magic.. I was building a superfriends with nicol bolas the ravager, do you think is viable as a deck? Plainswalkers (mainly the bolas ones) are game ending and all seem super strong but i am not sure it can keep up with other decks like green ramps or Prosshh. Unlike atraxa with bolas i lack white and green where unfortunately there are lot of nice cards for plainswalker... I feel like with 3 opponents, each one basically can have a creature constantly attacking my plainswalker and i'll have hard time winning. D: I don't see many commander matches with superfriends and thus i have so many doubts :( SUPERCOOL CARDS But maybe not that effective
Hi Alessandro! If there’s anything I’ve learned from playing magic, it’s that any idea for a deck is possible to be good, and you just have to find the right cards to put in it, so don’t underestimate Grixis colors for Superfriends! You are right that it’s missing green and white, so there’s no doubling season or white tutors, etc. But the deck can excel in other ways! Just to think of a few, I know that many Grixis planeswalkers (especially Bolas) are very interactive and oppressive, so use that to your advantage and balance it out with more utility cards on the side. Grixis is also amazing for card draw and counterspells, and since you’re not playing many creatures, there are loads of board wipes you can load in there. So I would approach this deck as a control deck so that you can stop other people from doing crazy things, so that you can do crazy things and bring out planeswalkers that just dominate the board. While I agree that a Grixis Superfriends can work very well, if you ever want to make a superfriends deck that has green and white I recommend using Golos as the commander. His activated ability can net you high value plays especially in combination of mana expensive plansewalkers and his ETB allows you to fix your mana through any land in your deck. As for your Grixis deck, if you need more mana ramp, maybe add in Dockside Extortionist? Although its pretty pricey.
5 color superfriends is a way to go! Why miss all the Bolas cards! I've been playing wubrg superfriends for a long time, and Golos is a great commander. His activation is brutal, and his etb trigger can fetch for a cofers or urborg, blinking permanents with Aminatou can be brutal as well! Please do a wubrg superfriends deck teck.
Just wait till they rotate and pick them up, they drop a fair bit, also consider the war of the spark planeswalkers with static abilities, those are still pretty cheap.

I put vorinclex monstrous raider in mine to basically use all commander ultimate abilitys as soon as I bring them out
