UPDATE FOR YOU ALL: For those of you who are 'complaining' about part 2 taking this long, I can understand why you are upset. However, I am not upset at you for being upset. Yes, three years is a long time, but what you need to understand is that I am an adult with adult responsibilities and adult priorities in life. I do not sit at my computer all day just to animate because I do this on my freetime (as I've said many times in the past). You may call it 'bs', and you may get impatient and no longer return to my channel. That is fine, as it is your choice. But to all who have been with me since the very beginning, I thank you all for your understanding and patience. I appreciate that the most, and want you all to know it. Life is not easy for all of us, and life is different for each of us, and sometimes you WILL need to make sacrifices. OMG YES IVE BEEN WAITING SO LONG. I forced all my friends to watch this and even they said it was amazing :) please keep on going :D you are a very good animator. Considering these people that make the real deal animated movies are in the hundreds. and there is only one of you MAKING THIS AMAZING ANIMATION THAT I WILL LOVE FOREVER.
My only expectation for you has already been achieved. Some people get rushed to do things (like this for example) and decide that the only way they can be happy is rushing and doing it all for the people that are pushing them. Some people make a sacrifice that you have clearly decided NOT to make. That sacrifice begin their daily life. You are an adult, with responsibilities and most of us respect this, those who don't are the people who decide to rush you. Your drawing are EXTREMELY detailed, so making more than one must take ages. To all those haters - imagine drawing a really detailed picture. Hoe long does that take? Then imagine drawing over 1000 of those really detailed pictures adding things like lip sync, backgrounds (never mind having to make all of these things look in line), extra little things like shading, colour, voice acting and SO much more. If people are so desperate to get you to speed up, then how about they try and make part 2 of 86?! See if they can do it!

The wolf mix probs would go insane, and hopefully kill the assholes that did that. I also feel awful for the brown dog, she was a dog, and dogs will always have some loyalty to humans, even if it is deep down. This is such a great story. I may make a gacha out of it, except 86 percent kitsune. And it's a human, but I'd definitely give this UA-camr credit UwU

Awesome update. And I get you have a life outside of the Internet. We all do! I wish some people would realize that animation is a lot of work. It's time-consuming, it takes patience, it takes motivation. Heck, I'm currently working on a big animation and it's hard. and I'm using a simple animation thing. Your artwork is magnificant! Artwork like yours makes me want to become better, to improve my own artwork. These kinds of things inspire me. Can't wait for part two! But I have patience. It will be worth it, even if it takes years, it'll be worth it. :)
It takes even longer to animate using a program that's 3D I did try that for a time but I failed badly then my laptop fried itself so even if I wanted to I couldn't continue
EEEP! So excited for this to come out! The first episode caught my eye while browsing and now I am hooked on it! The idea is extremely unique and brilliant, and the animation work is completely beautiful. I am no critic, but this is one of my favorite animations I have seen on UA-cam.

I remember first seeing your animations YEARS ago, and I fell in love I still look back and re watch them, and I always get excited when I think of what the next episode will hold I honestly feel bad that there are some that try to pressure you to do things quicker or say mean things because they don't want to be patient Your works have so much detail and obvious effort put into them

I watched the first part a long time ago and let me just say I know for a fact part 2 will be worth the wait. The scrip alone is beautiful I wish I could read the whole story. You are so talented and I hope you make it big one day. I really think your work is just amazing. I really think you could make a living with it. If that is even something you would want to do. Been following from a different account since it first came out, and I just have to say that we can continue to wait. I know how much life can be consumed by work and such, so take your time to do what you need to do. When you feel you have the time to, then work on it at your own pace. In the meantime, we'll be here, waiting to see what new piece to this amazing story you have prepared for us viewers (and anyone else it may be for).
I'd prefer an amazing and detailed part two that takes years rather than a poor and rushed part two that is done quickly. Sumiko, your amazing keep this fabulous work up.
It's amazing what can come from a dream, isn't it? I keep written records of the dreams I have which are vivid enough to remember, especially the ones that leave me with some residual emotion when I wake up, and I have a folder of 21 different documents. I would have more, but I only record the dreams I remember in detail. Hopefully, several of those documents will potentially become books, just as you are turning your own into animations. Anyway, my point is: keep it up! You're doing great! Dreams can be tough to interpret and remember, much less share with others. Thank you for sharing your talent with us!
7 years is worth the wait. I saw 86 all the way back in 2012! I was (about 10-11...maybe 12?) years old. Keep it up! I've waited this long. Don't care if it takes 20 years! Don't listen to the people trying to rush you. You have your own style and it takes time to animate (I'm an aspiring animator hoping to get my dream job at Pixar studios. Already technically a character designer!) 2D animation is especially difficult, I understand. Again, keep it up girl! (Or guy. Though, I'm guessing you're a-ya know what? Nevermind!) I've stayed tuned for 7 years. I'll stay tuned for more!

honestly, this story is amazing. even with only a single part, it is one of the best ideas for a "dystopian future" story i have seen in a long time. I hope part 2 comes out some day, but i doubt it will.

This story is beautiful. It really has meaning, or at least to me it does. I love the animations, and I really appreciate the time and sacrifices you have made to get this far, even if this isn’t the end of the story. I believe that maybe, this could become a book, if you wanted it to. I want to let you know I’m giving you my full support, and, even thought three years is a long time, I’m trying to be as patient as I can. But, I cannot lie and will say that sometimes, i get a bit upset and frustrated that it has taken this long, and I re,ind myself to think about how hard you are trying. Please, do not get frustrated if people get mad at you, just stay happy and do what you can.

I probably had watched part one a few years ago (as its 2017) and I didn't have a channel to sub to u and first forgot the videos name all I remember was 8,6 not 86 and now finally I found it I felt overwhelmed with both joy and sadness. all I can wish you is that you carry on with what you love and to take joy in making these as pleases so many people. :D
You're animations are the ones that made me interested in animating at age 10, even if now i'm actually 14 and I haven't really animated anything ^^' but I would really want to start animating and I will. I thought that the channel was no longer going to make any videos, whic made me sad, but after coming back to your channel, I felt happy that there are still updates. It doesn't matter if others complain, your work is for your own pleasure, so you don't have the obligation to entertain us and obviuslly you don't have to finish animations in one week just to keep us happy. I was even a little be worried, because I thought that maybe you were sick or had a problem, so it makes me relieved to see that your ok, well, maybe you don't feel ok or maybe yes, but at least it's great to heard about you. Amazing work, and keep it up :D. I basically come each year to see Eighty-six, but it's been a long since I scrolled down your channel, so there are some videos that I haven't seen. Wish the better for you and I will be waiting eagarly for the next episodes *^*.

EEEP! So excited for this to come out! The first episode caught my eye while browsing and now I am hooked on it! The idea is extremely unique and brilliant, and the animation work is completely beautiful. I am no critic, but this is one of my favorite animations I have seen on UA-cam.

I think it's so cool that you've managed to come this far! I've been following this for a long time and it's totally captivated my interest! Your artwork is amazing and I admire your perseverance to complete this. +matthewzinneker I also think it should become a graphic novel!
This is looking very good! :) Ock don't worry about people bugging you for new animations; people forget constantly that there is a real person behind the screen but we all know that your life comes first- as you said in this video "each of us lives a very different life" ^-^

I watched the first part a long time ago and let me just say I know for a fact part 2 will be worth the wait. The scrip alone is beautiful I wish I could read the whole story. You are so talented and I hope you make it big one day. I really think your work is just amazing. I really think you could make a living with it. If that is even something you would want to do. I am blown away by the idea it's self. The entire thing is just ingenious. I would watch full movies or read an entire book series of this. I just love it please don't ever get discouraged. I hope you are still working on it. Saw it my first time over 6-7 years ago. Waiting still ever so patiently. I wished there were other animations like this one on youtube.
Been following from a different account since it first came out, and I just have to say that we can continue to wait. I know how much life can be consumed by work and such, so take your time to do what you need to do. When you feel you have the time to, then work on it at your own pace. In the meantime, we'll be here, waiting to see what new piece to this amazing story you have prepared for us viewers (and anyone else it may be for).

I'd prefer an amazing and detailed part two that takes years rather than a poor and rushed part two that is done quickly. Sumiko, your amazing keep this fabulous work up.
It's amazing what can come from a dream, isn't it? I keep written records of the dreams I have which are vivid enough to remember, especially the ones that leave me with some residual emotion when I wake up, and I have a folder of 21 different documents. I would have more, but I only record the dreams I remember in detail. Hopefully, several of those documents will potentially become books, just as you are turning your own into animations.
Anyway, my point is: keep it up! You're doing great! Dreams can be tough to interpret and remember, much less share with others. Thank you for sharing your talent with us!
7 years is worth the wait. I saw 86 all the way back in 2012! I was (about 10-11...maybe 12?) years old.
Keep it up! I've waited this long. Don't care if it takes 20 years! Don't listen to the people trying to rush you. You have your own style and it takes time to animate (I'm an aspiring animator hoping to get my dream job at Pixar studios. Already technically a character designer!)
2D animation is especially difficult, I understand. Again, keep it up girl! (Or guy. Though, I'm guessing you're a-ya know what? Nevermind!)

Ok so i just found ur channal and watched 86 and i to understand what ur going through i have my own problems thats why i dont post much but we all have to understand that this stuff takes time and he/she is trying their HARDEST to do things for us and their family so i will stand by you and saport you with whatever you need!

honestly, this story is amazing. even with only a single part, it is one of the best ideas for a "dystopian future" story i have seen in a long time. I hope part 2 comes out some day, but i doubt it will.

This story is beautiful. It really has meaning, or at least to me it does. I love the animations, and I really appreciate the time and sacrifices you have made to get this far, even if this isn’t the end of the story. I believe that maybe, this could become a book, if you wanted it to. I want to let you know I’m giving you my full support, and, even thought three years is a long time, I’m trying to be as patient as I can. But, I cannot lie and will say that sometimes, i get a bit upset and frustrated that it has taken this long, and I re,ind myself to think about how hard you are trying. Please, do not get frustrated if people get mad at you, just stay happy and do what you can.

I probably had watched part one a few years ago (as its 2017) and I didn't have a channel to sub to u and first forgot the videos name all I remember was 8,6 not 86 and now finally I found it I felt overwhelmed with both joy and sadness. all I can wish you is that you carry on with what you love and to take joy in making these as pleases so many people. :D
You're animations are the ones that made me interested in animating at age 10, even if now i'm actually 14 and I haven't really animated anything ^^' but I would really want to start animating and I will. I thought that the channel was no longer going to make any videos, whic made me sad, but after coming back to your channel, I felt happy that there are still updates. It doesn't matter if others complain, your work is for your own pleasure, so you don't have the obligation to entertain us and obviuslly you don't have to finish animations in one week just to keep us happy. I was even a little be worried, because I thought that maybe you were sick or had a problem, so it makes me relieved to see that your ok, well, maybe you don't feel ok or maybe yes, but at least it's great to heard about you. Amazing work, and keep it up :D. I basically come each year to see Eighty-six, but it's been a long since I scrolled down your channel, so there are some videos that I haven't seen. Wish the better for you and I will be waiting eagarly for the next episodes *^*.
