welcome, I also found out, you can install Bridge on Houdini 20.5 with the Labs/Packages Settings in the Houdini Launcher. I also assume, with release of FAB soon, there will be several new ways to import Assets at all.
Not every versions of redshift in houdini is compatible, like if you have Houdini 19.5.435, you would use Redshift 3.5.14 for example. I think that at the moment of this message I sent, Redshift didn't published any versions for Houdini 20.5 ? But it will be published very soon I think !! You can nonetheless bypass this by installing older versions of RS inside Houdini 20.5 with wierd techniques that I don't know, but you will have obviously so many errors that it would be unsuable to render things... 🥲 It's only compatibility issues I also wanted to install RS for H20.5 soooo... If you want, you can install H20.0, it has a version of RS for it

Hi, I follow the steps and when I imported the mesh from Bridge to Houdini 20.5, only the folder HDA are imported and it is empty inside, no geo no texture.. do you have an idea why?
@@IDAVFX 20.5, I was able to solve this now it seems the issue is when I download the asset it never exports. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

you need to add over install manager from sidefx under Labs/Packages

Yeah it’s a problem from Quixel. 20.5 is not true working at the moment

I found out they moving to fab so I guess the new bridge connection will be in mid - october by fab - the global digital store.

Check your Plugins folder where Quixel downloads it in the Bridge menu
