    The issue with Tatum is he’s a jack of all trades. He’s good at everything in basketball. He’s not a top 10 at any individual skill though. On an NBA team, he’s amazing because he plugs any holes the team has. On a team as talented and diverse in skill sets as Team USA, he doesn’t fit. There’s someone who can do every skill needed better than he can.

    • @albertjang7133
      @albertjang7133 18 днів тому +3

      Agreed. He can shoot, but not better than the guards on USA. He doesn’t playmaker. He’s 6’10 so he’s too tall to guard against small guards but he can’t bang down low as well as a Bam Adebayo or an AD

    • @lotuslife3239
      @lotuslife3239 12 днів тому +2

      @albertjang7133 He ain't no damn 6'10 he's 6'8 and while bro is good at everything but not the best at anything, he could at least give some more effort on the defensive side if he isn't getting shots. Even Booker played better defense, he just doesn't have the stamina or athleticism to keep up with the small guards defensively AND be a rim runner, lob threat, ball handler. If he stayed his lighter weight he would have been better off but for the Celtics they need him to be bulkier to guard the 4.

  • @lushbIood

    Booker and Holiday put this Avengers team on wheels because it was heavy with talent that couldn't mesh. Every time those 2 were on the court, they had the defense flying around. Serbia really would have won that if we didn't see the ghost of mid-2010s Steph Curry.

      @@BlueIsWeirdIdk your comment here is nearly incoherent, and you edited it and it’s still that way? I give Curry a ton of respect, he’s my favorite player after all, hello? You can’t disrespect previous generations of players because they didn’t play as long as players nowadays, that’s ridiculous. Technology, surgery techniques, understanding of the human body, etc all give players today the advantage when decades ago those players had none of those advantages. Are you going to remove all your top 10 players from today in the next 20-30 years because those future players will have even better longevity and statistical achievements?
      There were absolutely amazing players in all eras. Some deserve to break the top 10, some don’t. The big 3 from this era undoubtedly deserve to be in the top 10, at the very least considered for the top 10. They aren’t even retired yet! They have great opportunities to achieve so much more. Curry looks like he can go another 5+ years! KD’s stats are nearly identical now as they were during his MVP years. LeBron plays better than most players in their 20’s. It’s all amazing. It’s really too bad that the top 10 is held to such a high regard while the 11-19 are not. There are so many amazing players now and in the past, we should really give 11-19 more respect. Then you’re here saying ranked 6-10 is not good enough for Curry? There are tons of people that still have him in the 11-19 range and some at 25+! Now THAT is ludicrous.

    It doesn't matter where everyone else places Steph on that all time list, the only thing that does is your opinion. Stick him where ever you want on that list. It doesn't matter. I don't have him on mine , Hell, I don't have James in the top ten either. Am I wrong? What's it matter?

      Fair… do you think Curry being the face of the Warriors and the 3 Point revolution doesn’t qualify him as Lebron’s rival?

    • @darksensei5338
      @darksensei5338 26 днів тому +2

      @@manlikezi absolutely, he lebron’s rival in terms of popularity, gamesmanship and showmanship in basketball. In terms of on court ability, they were born in Ohio but live in different area codes. We got tiers to this. (Jordan, lebron, Kobe) +\- 1.

    • @manlikezi
      @manlikezi  26 днів тому +2

      @darksensei5338 you’re right. I definitely didn’t mean to put him in that class but with how much weight his name holds in the game…he shouldn’t be many tiers below them

    • @MrMillefail
      @MrMillefail 24 дні тому

      I have him top3. I honestly think Karim Abdul Jabbar played in the most difficult era (especially with the Bucks), and was the most unstoppable player. I think Jordan was the most dominant player in the most physical era (although he only won after rule change that softened the game), and LeBron the best all around player playing in the most skilled era. Frankly any argument for any of them as the #1 is fair.

    I love how everyone ignores that this team USA could beat teams in many ways but this is a Steve Kerr team aka a team specifically designed for curry to thrive 😂 that’s why we lost the fiba World Cup Kerr is a one trick pony. We won gold in 2020 without curry or lebron or Davis

      Your take is bad curry over magic all day. Curry and kobe are the only notable 2 player who wins 2 rings without a top 75 player. Magic has kareem in all of his rings.
      Magic joined a champion team while curry build THE championship team.
      Competition who played johnson??
      Erving malone bird zeke and budding 91 jordan?.
      Who played curry. Prime Lebron whos one of the GOAT? Love kyrie. Super teams. The clips with point god and blake. Harden and so on and on. Better competition more skilled players.the celt with prime superstars...
      Your take is not valid.
