Wow that Florida beauty. 👍. Your begonia macula is gorgeous. Unfortunately our dry Canadian winters my beautiful maculata lost all leaves so I chopped it back as we head into spring and it has pushed out all kinds of fresh new growth. 🇨🇦
Hi 🙋🏼♀️ Hannah I stated following you last year in lock down, I now have a house full of plants 🪴 (not as many as you though 😅) and a tiki bar in my back garden 😎 and I’ve just potted up 10 Caladiums bulbs which I’m super excited to see, thank you so much for all your ideas 🥰
Hi Hannah .....lovely vlog as always ....my Caladium Moolight not showing growth yet, I really hope it grows, but my Cranberry Star has 5 growths popping up...so looking forward to these for 1st time , I only got interested from seeing yours
Such beautiful plants. I want a Cuprea and a Dragon Scale. I will find them this summer. I’m in Ontario, Canada. The prices are quite steep for those two.
Another fab video! Can't get over how perfect your plants look. I can never see any brown bits or anything like that. Your house is like a beautiful mini Kew Gardens ☺🙌🏻 How is your Colocasia doing now? Mine still havn't shown any signs of growth yet 😟 I planted them on the 26th March. I'm really hoping that they will begin to appear soon 🤞🏻 Hope your well ☺ Take care 💚
Aw thank you ha ha ☺️🌿💚🌺 Colocasia had a few leaves But I had to repot it due to fungus gnats and it wasn’t thrilled about that, so those leaves yellowed but I have some new ones coming up again 💚
@@TropicalPlantAddict Uuurrgh really! 😫 I can't bare fungus gnats! I have a few around in my house atm. Luckily we also have quite a few orb weavers living in our house atm tho too. So a lot are eaten by them 🕷🕸😂 They are such a pain though aren't they!! 😡🤬 I hope your Colocasia comes up bigger and better second time round! 😁🤞🏻💚
Hi Hanna all of your plants are lovely as usual ! Hanna do you go back to pour out the excess water from your pots after watering ? I water every plant at a sink and pour excess water as I go . It takes time , I was just wondering if you do something different and less time consuming . Also I was hoping to take a peak at your butterfly plants lol I hope they are doing well ! As always lovely plants! Very pretty and soothing video ! Stay well! 🌱🌸🌿🌴😁
No I don’t pour out the excess water unless I over water by mistake. There’s usually none or only a tiny bit 💚🌿 There’s a part 2 on my butterfly plant in the Christia Obcordata playlist 🦋🌱✨
what beautiful plants!!! great channel. could you give me some tips for alocasia's? i have a dragon scale and red cuprea that are both droopy. they both have great light & i dont overwater but can't quite seem to make them happy!
I love all the different pot styles and colors. I am going to start going to stores I normally don’t visit. Another you tubers posted a video about going to places like Marshals and T J Max. What stores in the UK 🇬🇧 do you visit or buy online?
Hi, gorgeous healthy plants. Do I start fertilising my houseplants about now? I got baby bio too. I haven't got any growlights, they're just on windowsills to get light.
Thank you! Usually you only fertilise them throughout the growing season so it depends if your plants are currently growing. I keep my house very warm all year so mine don’t tend to stop growing much over winter
Hi I've just bought the neem oil and soap to clean my plants and I was wondering, have you got any plants which have reacted badly to it. I was going to do patch tests, but it could save me some heartache if you could give me some pointers. Thank you
Hi there no I have never had any plants react badly, just make sure you mix the right amounts together or you can dilute it more if you are concerned. You are just meant to keep the plants out of any direct sunlight after applying the treatment as this will burn the leaves
I didn’t have them for over a year until I potted up my Colocasia which is a thirsty plant. You generally get them if your soil is moist or you over water your plants
I've found the only thing that works for fungus gnats is Mosquito Bits. You can only get it from ebay in the UK. It's expensive but lasts for ages. I got a tub for £20 a couple of years ago but it's still half full. Just sprinkle a spoonful into a watering can full of water, let it sit for 48 hours then water all plants that have gnats and it kills all the eggs. The adults are unaffected but will die off after a week as they are short lived. You may need to dose the plant a couple of times. Bottom watering plants and letting them really dry out between waterings helps too.
@@jennibennett9724 thank you that's much appreciated i love all plants but my hubby is so fed up with bugs saying i cant have any with the bits i will so thanks :)
