I love watching your videos, so many beautiful plants! I did have a tip to share with you. I no longer use paper towels when wiping down leaves. I use coffee filters (new ones of course). Paper towels can leave paper lint behind, but coffee filters do not. They are very inexpensive, at least in the USA. They also work extremely well when cleaning mirrors and windows.
Hi Hannah, thanks for the tips and yes I do worry about the colder months. I do clean my windows too but unfortunately because of rain and snow it will just get dirty again 😂. Have a fab week 💚🌿
I can't wait to have my own place so I can buy some off the brautiful plant you have I just love to see them, also love to ser Marvin his so cute thank you For putting him on hope one day you make a video of him on what he does in a day, thank you take care
Can do fo a video for Aglaonema pictum tricolor please? I have one that I keep in water. I want to transfer it to a pot with the best medium but I’m stumped. If you’ve covered this under another video please let me know 💚
Hi Hanna, love your plants they're looking great, at the moment we can't stop buying more houseplants and today we bought a reduced priced rather sad looking alocasia pink dragon, like to think we could save it and give it a good home, any hints or tips would be great🙂
Great tips for Winter Hannah, I'm a bit stuck as I have a cold house with no Central Heating. I try to keep all my plants in the warmest rooms and near the windows! You didn't mention the Cacti you have - I'm glad they take no or very little watering as I'm an under-waterer too. I don't use a humidifier but I mist a fair bit. I love your cozy sofa but looking forward to your new one. I love Autumn so let's hope the UK has a really pretty one.
Oh wow no central heating? Where do you live? Hope it’s not too cold 🥶 I probably water my cacti a tiny bit once or twice a month over the winter… But again this will depend on your home environment. Thanks very much I can’t wait to get to my new sofa… Fingers crossed it arrives soon 🤞🏻🤎🍁
Good evening Hannah - I hope you and the feathered babies are keeping well. I tried to source the systemic treatment you are currently using from ebay and I cannot seem to find one that will deliver to the UK. Could you either please share the link to the shop you bought it off from the US or maybe even recommend one that can be bought locally please? 😇 💚 xx
Hi Did I see in 1 of your water propagation a Anthurium Clarinervium? I have 2 plants in 1 pot , but I didn’t know you could water propagate the leaves 🍁
Ann Turner no I’m not propagating anthurium Clarinervium. I have some anthurium Crystallinum and magnificum x growing in moss. The plants I am propagating in the water currently are epipremnum pinnatum variegata, aglaonema pictum tricolour, Philo sodiroi, Monstera b var, fittonia, jewel orchids and silver satin pothos
Jennifer C Thank you! If I’m wiping down the leaves I do this inside… If I’m blitzing the plant and spraying done all the stems I do this outside in the summer... or take them into the bathroom. I don’t think it’s a Sunday services although I do have a few water marks on my wooden furniture 😢🌿
Hi, I love your house plant tour! But can I know where you bought that painting besides your TV? I have been looking around for this series of autumn painting. I saw it on etsy 2 yrs ago but I’m not sure if they ship to Singapore.
@@TropicalPlantAddict Omg sad to hear that... His range of these paintings are so nicely done! Tks for replying. Pls do more house plant tour or unboxing videos 😊
Camila_Benouali can be either but usually the leaves will start drooping/yellowing and die off. So yes they can lose all their leaves. Will come back in spring though 💚🌿
Hi Hannah - such a lovely home 😍 I've just invested in the same humidifier as yours. What is the ideal percentage to keep the plants thriving during the winter please? Also could you please make a video on which of your plants are going dormant. I love the part of caring for my plants but as soon as I see any plant looking sorry for itself it upsets me. Right now one of my alocassia polly leaf has drooped and I don't know whats causing that 🤷🏻♀️ xx
I think I only have Alocasia and caladiums that can go dormant although my Alocasia seem to stick around. Regarding the humidity it depends on the temperature and environment of your home. I tend to keep my house around 25°C most of the year… And I try and keep humidity between 55-65% 🌿💚
@@TropicalPlantAddict Thank you Hannah. I will try and increase the house temperature. Do you have a forum where your followers can ask for some troubleshooting advise on plants we are having not much luck with? Thank you for being so helpful and most of all for the educational videos 💚 xx
sharon dsouza you’re welcome. The house is warm enough the Alocasia may not go dormant. But it’s totally normal for them to do so. Sorry I don’t have a forum… I just try and make helpful/useful videos and reply to comments etc 💚🌿🌴
@@TropicalPlantAddict Thank you Hannah 😊 please keep the videos coming. Especially any of ones where you are repotting and combating any diseases. If you ever decide to start a forum I'll gladly pay to subscribe. Your expertise on plants is remarkable! 💚 xx
sharon dsouza Thanks very much! I’m no expert but I have quite a bit of experience now with having such a large collection of plants. I have always had plants in my home but never this many 😁 I do have various videos on my channel of how to combat bugs etc.. There is a search bar somewhere top right where you can hopefully find what you are looking for 😊🌿💚🌴
My croton has never dropped any leaves… I trimmed some leaves off the bottom part last year to turn it into more of a tree. It’s in my kitchen, you’ll see it on my video this weekend 🌿
what a beautiful collection
I use the same systemic but I get the 3 lb container. Much more economical. Beautiful plants!
Wow! What a collection.
Bagus sekali koleksi kamu salam from Indonesia😀

I don't have central heating either, but I've recently bought a Delongi dragon oil filled radiator and now it feels like I have central heating!
Natalie Butler that’s a great idea. Nice and cosy 🔥💚🌿

Do you spray the plants with neem oil in the house? Does it harm surfaces? Love your videos. You’re my favorite!

The painting is by Leonid Alfremov. Unfortunately he passed away over the last year :(

Beautiful room
Bet the pots (amazing btw) are more expensive than the plants.
Thank you yes in some cases they are but with the rare plants not so much 😁🌿💚🌴🍂🍁
How can you tell if I plant has gone dormant?
Hannah when plants go dormant do they lose their leaves or just stop growing?

Hi Hannah, what is the name of the plant in front of the TV on the right? It’s in the thumbnail pic with the textured leaves
Thanks🌿💚
It’s anthurium radicans 💚🌿

How ur plants can survive at winter
Why has your croton loosed its leaves
