No problem on the buffering! There is a rumor among TWA that they wrote this song about a record company, Victoria Records, who was going to sign them but tried to change the wording in their contract at the last minute. They stayed independent and eventually signed with Lava(Rebublic) Records and kept control of their music, after 7 months of negotiations!!! 😅👏⚡️
No worries here, it happens. This is a special song for many of us fans when we watched them perform at the TEDx program that aired in 2017. They did 3 songs with the girls talking in between songs. It was a nice way to know a little bit about them. It's a must see man.
@@B-Drags-DenBut first react to their 2016 TEDx presentation, most people disregard their first one and it's an important one because they talk about the frustrations and negativity they had in making the band and they also talk about making their first album plus you get to see the big difference in the growth of Ale from one year to the next. And without the first one there would not have been a second presentation. Thank you
The TedX 2017 performance of this song is legendary. Please check it out, even if it’s just on your own time. They’re very young at that time, but you can see what’s coming from this band. Rock stardom!!
Still one of my favorites after all these years. Their TEDx performance of this song was just as good, if not better. If you're a fan of this band you simply must check out both of their TEDx talks, even if you don't end up doing a reaction for them. You'll love them. Enjoyed your reaction. Don't care about buffering/technical issues, that stuff happens. Peace! 🤘
One of their best songs! IF you are going to do SURVIVE again, try the version at their TEDx performance 2017 with a young The Warning, you will be surprised! Keep up the good work.
Agree that leaving this up as is was the right call, like you said, it's honest and nothing is perfect. That said, the synchronized 'dancing' with their guitars between Ale and Dany, and the head bops between Ale and Pau are pretty dang awesome. If I am in need of better vibes I just put on this song because that last minute or so never fails to put a smile on my face and make me feel amped up. An oldie (in Warning terms) but a goodie.
This is one of their very early songs but it still holds up as a great live song. Pau probably wrote this when she was like 14 or something and it definitely has that teenage breakup vibe.
Thanks for this reaction...leave it up! Most of us have probably seen the original anyway and are here to check out your reaction. I can tell from your smile that you had the same reaction I did! If you're going to listen to it again on your own, though, check out the version from their 2017 TEDx talk, when Pau was just short of 15. Absolute classic.
This was their closing song for years of concerts. Still love it. It was the 3rd TW song I has heard. The TEDx Talk2017 show was the first time I played anything from The Warning.....on a fluke. I grew up in Texas and was surfing UA-cam videos and thought it was going to be something about Texas. I suggest you react to it. 3 songs plus the girls saying inspirational stuff. Play the whole thing!!!
How did they know about relationships when they wrote this, lol... Dany was the only one that was a teenager at this point. Another one of my faves!!!!
Great Reaction "Also" The Ted Ex 2017 (#2) Is A Great Version of Survive. Please Watch Ted Ex (#1) 2017 (Very Young) "Deciple" and "Amour" are great songs to react to. The Warning The Best Band In The World!!!
7:19 Pau and Ale have a sister thing they do in some songs that I've recently noticed, rocking their heads together from one side to the other as Pau hits the cymbals. Very cute. Glad you fixed your buffer issues before Pau started losing her sh!t on those poor drums! LOL! And that ending - Ale with the rock star pose after she hits that last string. Love it!
-The Warning un talento para la composición e interpretación ,no hay mejor grupo de rock en vivo sus temas están llenos de buen rock, Survive de sus primeros temas ,un tema excelente
The TEDx performance of 2017 is what made me a fan. Witnessing such talent at such a young age was amazing. They managed mishaps in the middle of the song like consummate professionals, and at the end, seeing their joy in response to a standing ovation from a previously skeptical audience was priceless!
*Survive* the first time i heard *Survive* was watching their 2017 TEDx video... they played 3 songs there and spoke to the audience between each song... *Survive* was their closer and that jam session at the end was a wildfire to watch... actually, you should watch both of their TEDx sessions, 2016 and 2017, if you haven't seen them yet... each one is maybe 30 minutes long with 3 songs and DPA/TW speaking between the songs... what they talk about is enlightening and very informative... *Survive* is off their 2017 album "XXI Century Blood"... it is obviously about a relationship going/gone bad... some think of a boy/girl relationship but it could be about any relationship... especially a relationship where partyA is telling partyB that partyB won't make it without partyA in their lives... to me, this sounds very much like it was inspired from the failed negotiations with those labels "that wanted to change them for the wrong reasons"... i can see those label people trying to get them to sign by trying to scare them with words like that... the album's title song has a OMV that really tells a story... it, too, is a must see if you haven't seen it yet... it was nominated for a few awards and won several of them 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

Pau should do Broadway. Talk about stage presence. This song holds a special place for me. Like so many other TWA members, this was the song, as performed by them at the 2017 TedX talk, that hooked me in and sent me sprinting down The Warning rabbit hole.
I have kind of a strange comment but maybe you'll consider it: When you write a bit of a 'hot take' as part of the title it sounds kind of summary and dismissive. Like, if I were to review your review and said "Good accent and use of gestures" it doesn't really engage with the relational aspect of things/ kind of makes it sound like a teacher writing a brief comment on a B+ essay. I like your actual reviews but not your titles. For titles I'd rather hear how it makes you feel.
Just love this Teatro version of this wonderful song, great pick! If you'd like to take a little break, try their toddler concert at their school of the great covers they did at Liceo.
When the buffering happens I usually backoff the UA-cam resolution one notch. AKA 1080P TO 720P and it usually works and still perfectly fine for viewing.
I doubt this song is personal to them as they wrote the song when they were around 15, 13 and 10. They always did have a way of writing stuff they seen on tv or the internet though.
@@SDsailor7 I didn't know that if true. When I said personal to them, i was meaning in a love relationship. The record deal could be what the song is about as they were just starting out with their first album and searching for a deal.
This is a song that so many of us were introduced to this band with. It’s still a crowd favorite. Great reaction.
Yes, that's the one and still a favorite!
Survive 1 of their hallmarks…….
I love Paulina's theatricality, and the beginning of this song is perfect for her to show off that theatricality in all its splendor.
I like watching them play "rock band" to their own song. (this one)
Love the fist pump from Dany at the end.
One of the Best Warning Songs❤❤❤
Don't worry 'bout the buffering, - pause when you gotta pause; all good! 👊⚡️🤘
this same song done earlier at Ted X Nevada University is my favorite version
Gonna do that one.
The Warninig = Alejandra (Ale) 🎸🎤+ Paulina (Pau) 🥁🎤+ Daniela (Dany) 🎤🎸 Villarreal. Tres talentosas hermanas Mexicanas. Saludos desde el Sur/Sur Argentino

I love this song, thw way that Pau and Dany switch get me crazy
Es un clásico de mi grupo favorito, muchos las conocimos y nos atraparon con esta canción y desde eso sigo con ellas jejeje, las amo DPA❤
The synchronized head bops of Pau and Ale always put a smile on my face.

As far as I’m concerned, this is the official song of the warning for me
It is.
Yes
I may be wrong, but I think that in the recent European tour, this is the only song from the first album, that they still play live.
They added When I'm Alone back a couple of nights in the UK when Pau was under the weather and couldn't sing Dust To Dust.
Your not wrong, they dropped "When I'm Alone." I don't think they did "Enter Sandman." either. ✌
