Finally a shed construction video where someone uses coach bolts on the door hinges and latch bolt. The amount of shed build videos on youtube where they just have bog standard exposed pozi screws is just baffling. Excellent work sir.
Waqas Arif thanks 👍🏼. I'm using shiplap tongue and groove cladding 13mm which is all tantalised. Once the shed was fully erected I treated it all with 1 coat of oil based (not water based) light oak preservative. Hope that helps 👍🏼
Kiks Gaming total cost me around £400 pounds UK 🇬🇧 . That includes timber, glazing, ironmongery, felt and all sundries (screws & nails) 👍🏼 The equivalent spec 10x6 shed with higher internal eve high, double doors and timber grading would cost to buy around £650. You can probably buy a 10x6 for £400 to £450 but it won't be to the quality of this. There are sheds and sheds, if you know what I mean 😂
Hi Ken, technically yes, but the doors are solid and haven't gone anywhere in over a year or so. I think the reason I did that was because the door latch timber area clashed and so I ran the brace the opposite way. But if you want to get super technical then you are correct. both should run as the top.
Hi there. Impressive work. In the part 3 of the concrete slab, you removed the frame. did you put back the same thing here? i noticed the frame looks a bit different in this video.

I love coach bolts; used those to construct my airing cupboard shelving. Brilliant and secure!
Cool video damn I got to turn the volume down each time that annoying music comes on
Great video. How much money do you think you saved constructing the shed yourself?
Nice work man..... What kind of wood you are using to prevent it from water and other damaging stuff?....is it pressure treated or what?

May I ask which brand of roof felt and quality did you use? Thanks
Good video, music to loud, I had to turn it down, then back up, to many times. Nice result.
You have the "Cooking with dog" theme song.
Looks proper! How did you attach the base to the concrete slab? Or do you even need to?
Hi again! You don't need to attach anything. There is plenty of weight in the structure to keep it down. Thanks again.
How much did you spend altogether for this shed?

Hello, do you still have a cutting list for the shed
Ultimate Forest Gaming yes. I could send you some PDFs if you give me some email details 👍🏼
Brilliant, thank you. I've sent it to your instagram as I don't know how to message in you tube
Ultimate Forest Gaming send me a DM on Instagram paulmarsh86
what accent is that Paul. you sort of alternate between Brum 'n' Black Country?
Hi Laura, thanks for watching. I'm originally from Brum, so I would say brummy :)
Are the lower door braces the wrong way round ? - Surely the idea of the braces is to transfer the weight of the door to the hinges

Tee Howe Peh thanks for the compliments, no frame is still removed if you look carefully. It must be the lighting. 😂👍🏼😂
brilliant videos :) 2x1 or 2x2 for the frame. tara
Richard Johns from memory I think they were 2" x 1.5" (50 x 38mm) 👌🏼
OnlineHousehusband thank you .
Good job.
Hi please can you send me the cutting list for your shed .
Can this be done without adding a wood floor, leaving the concrete exposed on the inside of the shed?
I wouldn't advise it Maurice, any rain or damp would just enter the shed. Thanks for checking out the video :-)
