This is a track that I started almost a year and a half ago and was supposed to be on an album that I was working on, but I decided to go a new direction and so I decided I'd upload this as a single instead (it's actually one of three I hope to have uploaded soon). Another dubstep track where there's more of a flow and it's not as choppy, and the mix probably isn't my best, but again, the song's about a year and a half old so keep that in mind.

A few things to say:
1. The percussion is amazing. Some of the thickest kick and snare I've ever heard, and who would have thought bongos would sound so good in a dubstep track?
2. Really, really nice mixing and mastering. Everything sounds exactly how you'd expect it to, and I like that you left plenty of frequencies open for the snare to really crack.
3. Here's my big complaint: the drop offers absolutely nothing I haven't heard before. It's built on the same bitcrushed "yeh" synth that people have been using for years. This song sounds technically good, but honestly Shadow, you're a very talented producer, and I would have hoped to hear something a bit more original.
4. Reason for life!
I love it man,you are one of the only music producers that makes songs with such a distinct sound.Your music sounds different than any genre.
ShadowStep could be a new genre,and im not saying this as a fanboy ,but as a music lover.

I think 1:21-1:49 sounded really cool, how it had pauses in it to make the other sound more pronounced. It would be cool to see that in future songs!

Well this is the first song I hear from you. Thought I'd give your channel a look and was surprised to see the dubz! Very dirty though, sounds clean. One of the cleanest hits I've heard if not the cleanest. Very distinct as well. Can't wait to hear your new stuff ( since this is more than a year old)
