My newest track, and personally I believe it's my best effort to date. Spent a lot of time on this one. Hope you guys enjoy.

I actually really like how this snare shaped out. I scaled the reverb back some during mixing because I wasn't trying for a big-room sound with it. Just short, punchy, and sweet.
As far as the compression goes, eh, maybe I could have squashed it a bit more, but I'm happy with it. I feel like it sits well. Best sounding snare I've made so far.

This is probably the most frustrating part about this for me. When it's being played direct through my computer, the sub bass DOES shake the house. Unfortunately, something happens during exporting from Reason and uploading to UA-cam where a lot of the lows and low-mids are lost. I've been struggling with this problem for years, and I'm still looking for a solution
