A remarkable musician from Australia Joe Var Veri I’ve met in Brooklyn covers Elvis songs so beautifully with just his guitar or piano...this guy to me embodies the early Elvis...those days pre Sun years when Elvis would go around with his guitar strapped on his back...picking and playing those early rhythm & blues and country songs...just honing his guitar skills.
When Elvis sang a song, he put his unique stamp on the song. Elvis had such great range and power and skill, but I think the thing that really set him apart was his passion. No one sang with as much passion as Elvis did. Your reaction shows you liked this version.

I love this song he definitely made it his own , and I have no doubt this song was meant for priscilla I know he gave her a copy of it after they divorced and she said in an interview that it's very hard for her to talk about this song because it gets her very emotional I know he never stopped truly loving her

@@davidgrondine9926 Elvis recorded this song in 1972 and unless Willie held onto it 12 or so years Elvis was the first to do this. I believe the writer of the song is the guy who wrote Suspicious Minds and Moody Blue and couple others Elvis recorded.

His brothers jesse his twin that never died at birth Tony was born a few years later. . It was their other brother Johnny that died in 77 . He had cancer . Jesse and tony did the rest of the concerts after E left . Now there is a fella called Orion Jimmy Ellis Elvis half brother. He did the shows after 78 . . Vernon was not Elvis and jesse real father but vernon also had a twin . Their real father died at his job working for the rail road . But being verno. Was helping raise the boys. They took him to a father figure. The truth is coming out . That's why vernon said that no one was to know the results of the death til 2024 .
