I LOVE this. The photos Larry got, the editing, the piano jazz at the end...just GORGEOUS, start to finish. Thank you, Larry and company, for everything you do for motorsport.
I think the coolest part of watching Hoonigan's videos is getting to see their friends, random guests, and associates talk about their upcoming projects and awesome vehicles. Seeing Roll Smokey for the first time doing that crazy burnout on the dock to later show up on Build Breakdown as a hillclimb setup to later compete on Pike's Peak to eventually actually be seen in action ON Pike's Peak is an awesome experience even behind the screen. Everything coming around full circle.
Larry sounds demolished. Dudes a god damned hero. The ability to get level 11 shots when you're on empty is why you get the big bucks man. (and why you'll never read this)
I'm loving these mini race documentaries... _all_ the behind the scenes episodes, they breathe a lot of life into the sport. Also, following Chen and his boys really shows that the cars are not the only one's taking a beating!
Larry please start your own yourtube channel. This video was amazing. I live only 15 minutes from the hillclimb (Woodland Park) but wasn't able to make it there this year so I really appreciated this video.
This is probably one of the few things I religously have to watch on youtube. It's just so inspiring to watch him and his team and to know that im hopefully going to be doing that some day as well
Breath taking photos. Pure art. Seeing all you went through with just this shoot really brings to light what it takes to get those amazing pictures we all see hung up
I loved everything about this. Your side of the story with those incredible shots. Some of the views, car shot and closeups was amazing. Nice end with the music from that Classic with Ari Vatanen
I have zero knowledge in photography, but watching this content is so captivating. Larry should have his own show on the main channel. I'd watch it for sure!
Great video, with amazing shots! I also loved the music at the end, paying respect to the old movie from Jean Louis Mourey of the insane Peugeot 405 T16 at pikes peak. Cheers, and need these videos coming!
aight can i be honest with you guys real quick, hoonigan buddy boy, i love your normal content. thrashing around, bradgeneering, busting knuckles and biology class, and all other content. that stuff is awesome and extremely entertaining BUT these larry videos blows all that out of the water. it's amazing to see a true talented professional at work and as small of a production value these vids are, they're basically CamKhana. fantastic work, and keep em coming. larry is always welcome.
Awesome Larry! I've watched a few Hoon vids twice, but having driven PP (unpaved) and appreciating what you do, I just watched this four times in a row...Just crazy, feel free to throw up more. Very solid work young man.
Personally I enjoyed PP more when the upper roads were all dirt...different driving skills and setups...and huge rooster tails of dirt at the hairpins.
I used to live in Connecticut and remember trying to talk with freezing lips. It’s way funnier seeing someone else experience it. You’re a trooper Larry 🤙🏻
Goes to sleep with UA-cam on. Hoonigan bonus goes into play. Machine gun goes off. Wake up. Realise its Larry Chen taking beautiful pictures. Thx Hoonigan and Larry Chen
Hey guys, I was curious what the deal is with the varying framerate? Sometimes in the same shot while moving the gopro around it seems to go from 30 to 15..
I forgot I had a bowl of chow mein noodles in my cupboard, and Larry Chen reminded me. It was like he knew i was hungry...thank you Larry Chen, you're my hero
@larry_chen_foto Your work never ceases to surprise me. I know I'll never have the shear talent at shooting and editing but I sure hope to be the subject of your work one day. Best of luck as you live out your dream!
Wow you really doing this world a service showing everything that you do behind a camera those pictures The View and everything is breathtaking literally get some oxygen bro LOL amazing
Pikes Peak is one of the coolest places I’ve ever been. Coming from an elevation of 600ft above sea level, that altitude is a beast. Gotta take it slow!
I didn’t realize Larry used an A10 warthog to shoot photos
Lmao ikr
BRRRRRRRRRRRTT
Now I understand why he's called "Machine Gun Larry" 1:30
No shit... that is insane, he tracks cars like a WW2 AA gunner tracking a plane.
Amazing content as always. Larry's the man.
Carcaine I wonder how many sad cards he uses
This should be a regular thing. Saturday mornings with larry. Shitter rating of 9.2 great explanations, great photos, awesome coverage

I LOVE this. The photos Larry got, the editing, the piano jazz at the end...just GORGEOUS, start to finish. Thank you, Larry and company, for everything you do for motorsport.
As an aspiring automotive photographer, Larry is always an incredible source of inspiration. I just cannot get enough of his work.
Definitely need to give Larry his own show on the main Hoonigan channel. Amazing work as usual and always at the coolest races

I really like all of those closeups of the drivers, especially the one of the motorcycle guy on the start line.
One of my favorite segments on Hoonigan. It combines two of my passions, cars and photography.

So how many photos do you have to cull through after shooting an event like this? Also absolutely amazing shots by Mr. Larry Chen as always!
aight can i be honest with you guys real quick, hoonigan buddy boy, i love your normal content. thrashing around, bradgeneering, busting knuckles and biology class, and all other content. that stuff is awesome and extremely entertaining BUT these larry videos blows all that out of the water. it's amazing to see a true talented professional at work and as small of a production value these vids are, they're basically CamKhana.
