Oh, I love you. You have me cracking up this morning. I use to cut up in the dressing room. It is a blessing to be able to laugh at ourselves. Honey, that Jumpsuit is fire. I wanted to see it with the leather jacket.
I liked every item. I think everything looked good on you except the tight slim leg jeans... I/we did not see you in the eyelet pants. It was expensive but I thought it would be nice for your summer wardrobe... 😊
I didn’t realize that I had left it out, and I cannot find the footage! I have a picture, I’ll see if I can edit it in. That is frustrating! The eyelet pants are $60 on City Chic’s website, so I may order them when I get a goid coupon code!
Graham was off sick today! My stylist note was unreadable, so I gave him a vacation 🤣. I did not even realize that I didn’t put the crop pants in!! They were cute, but not worth the price- I’m going to go check my raw footage!
I didn’t see the eyelet pants either! Love eyelet but can’t imagine it in pants for xl me. LoL. The jumpsuit was adorable front and back….just carry dear hubs to the necessary with you! 😂. Liked the pleather jacket too but you’re right, how many does one need?!
@@BigonStyle I was concerned that he quit or was let go because some people were saying you talked too much! 🤣 I love your humor and interactions with us!!
@@LaJuana558 I didn’t realize that it was even missing while editing, but I can’t find the footage- the crazy thing is that I know it was there! I take a screenshot of each outfit to pester Ross about which outfit I should wear (he never cares, but it is tradition, now!). I must have inadvertently deleted it!! 😮😢. In all fairness, they were ‘just ok’. The waistband was pretty thick due to the gathering and it did not to pleasing things to my waistline…
I absolutely agree with you on jumpsuits. Why would anyone wear them? Nothing is worth the trouble of undressing in a bathroom just to go to the bathroom.
Hi Meredith, I thought the jumpsuit looks so cute on you but I wouldn’t be able to manage the potty situation 🤣😂. The jeans are cute too. The denim jacket is cropped and I wouldn’t care for that situation. I’m sorry your nephew hurt his chin but glad you took him for stitches. Two of my children did HOSA here in Florida and now one is a registered nurse in the neonatal department and the other is a doctor. Great great program!
Hello Meredith, I think those Molly and Isadora shorts would be awesome in another color if you can order them from Dia & Co. And that jumpsuit looked nice maybe not that practical though, a bit of a challenging box. Hope your nephews chin heals up fast, well wishes 🙏 Happy visiting with family 💕🏊☀️😎🏝️
Love that you are wearing the mauve top you got in the first Dia box. I really like your journey to find clothes that fit right now. I just struggle with wanting classic preppy styling but can only afford fast fashion in plus sizes.
I really like that top! I love that you recognized it!! I completely understand the desire for higher end clothes but not having the budget, I have absolutely been there at different points! It is hard with limited selections, as well, I never used to shop online, but couldn’t imagine not having that option now. I think that you should get what makes you feel beautiful and confident (and is in your budget!)
It’s hard to choose because you already look so nice today!! But I am a skinny jean girl so I’d size up plus you’re losing weight and those other jeans were way too big but the jackets are so cute 🥰 I have a shorter denim jacket that I like to wear with skinnies and a longer blouse and it totally gives the illusion of a higher waistline!
Lori, there just wasn’t anything in here that I love enough to keep. This may be my first box to go back without anything purchased. The good news is that they let me use the credit toward a seasonal box, so I’m not out anything!
Thank you Colleen! I sent it back, but ordered it directly through City Chic (it was over half off!). Thank you so much for watching and sharing your opinion!!
Sorry to be negative, but Just wanted to give you guys a heads up. If you are given the option to get a box for a waived style fee if you do not purchase anything, you will not get your styling fee credit applied to the items in the replacement box. Also any site promotions cannot be applied to items in the box which is ironic since many of the items dia sends are old and out of season items that you can no longer find on the website. For example I purchased the tan jacket when it was daily special for $45 despite it being full price in the dia box
Anna- thank you for sharing, that is great information- I didn’t know about the styling fee waiving nor even look at the daily special! The last 40% off coupon, they honored it, but it took me pressing them. I was interested in a dress that was $120 from the Dress obsessed box. There was a Memorial Day sale for 40% off, they said that they could not honor it, I told her that respectfully, I would not pay $120 for an item that I could order right now for $72 on their site. She ended up having me check out at full price and issued a refund for the 40%. They are a box that I truly have to watch. I am also sent a lot of City Chic, and it is always so much cheaper on the City Chic site. I appreciate you sharing all of this!
The brown jacket was my favorite! I also love the pink blouse/dress you were wearing at the beginning. I avoid the surplice front because I'm afraid of it gapping, but that style suits you.
This pink top is what I kept from my first Dia box!! Thank you! I normally put a little stitch in surplice tops to keep them from popping open…I had a very embarrassing experience with a surplice top and our FedEx man at work once 😬that said, I haven’t put a stitch in the pink top bc the fabric is so thin, I’m scared to ruin it!
Hey! I loved the video. I loved how the jumpsuit looked on you, but agree that 96 dollars seems very pricy. I looked online and found target selling the same dress for just under 60.
I hope your nephew's chin heals fast. That was a cool pediatric room, though, wasn't it? Your sound was much improved. Was this using the new microphone? The jumpsuit looks great on you. with such a large V-neck, could you get it off without unzipping it? I hope so. I find that if a jumpsuit is fairly loose on me, I can often pull it up or down to where I can zip it myself. Without a hubby to help, that's critical.. I notice that you're getting close to that all-important 1000 subscribers. Congrats
Without hubby help is pretty dang important in non-home situations! I think I’ll find my jumpsuit- I just haven’t found it yet! Also- this one was around half of the price on the city chic website! I need to make a ‘dark side of sub boxes’ on some of these items that are priced up be double! I am so excited about the 1,000 sub mark- I have the Watch hours because you are amazing!! Ross sure will be happy when I’m making enough to put a dent in my habit 🤣 The pedi room was amazing! My 16 year old nephew even appreciated it- he was worried that we had brought him to ‘one of those expensive hospitals’. 🤣❤️
I like the jumper (one piece) - loved how it looked on you, very flattering! But not being able to get out of it or back into it alone is a real deal breaker for me Love the dark jeans with not hem(just cut off at bottom) and they look very flattering, but no pockets? I need pockets - and a regular metal Jean button is super durable, I’ve never had one break or come off - they are indestructible My heart sank when you showed that sewed on button, the thread will unravel and it will be lost, or the button will crack- either way you’ll end up buttonless within 3 to 6 months
Moto jacket was the winner in the box. I hate skinny jeans… I feel like a popsicle in them… not a good look for any plus sized woman. The wide leg crop jean was cute but you’d need to size down. They don’t have pockets for the fashion, not the function… they would pooch out and not have a smooth fit. I’ve considered sewing down the pockets in a few of my pants for that reason. I’ve had good luck with Old Navy washwell ribbed twill jogger and their high girlfriend utility khaki… I wear an xxl and size 20 which is their largest size in these. The washwell is a lighter weight breathable fabric great for the hot summers if you can find it in your size.
I’m working at being in or near a 20 by the end of the summer, and I will try those for sure! I love the popsicle analogy!! The moto jacket was the best item in there- 100% agree!
The back is very important if you don't want a thong! It is also important if it fastens in the back in a way you can't reach. The jump suit isn't a true x in the back. I don't care for the length on any of the pant's legs. The shorts do go well with the Bloomchic top. Your right, the light blue pants do look like their painted on due to the shading.
Oh, I love you. You have me cracking up this morning. I use to cut up in the dressing room. It is a blessing to be able to laugh at ourselves. Honey, that Jumpsuit is fire. I wanted to see it with the leather jacket.
