Honestly there are some kameos that fot him way better than Sareena. Sure, the damage she gives you is great, but her utilisy, aside from the rune, is lackluster. I personally use Sonya with him for the meterless combo extensions, the plus on block projectile that you can charge, and the square wave that lets you combo off of your main low string. Tom Brady and Sikander use Kung Lao with him for the hat. I also think Goro could be great with him.

That combo can be a bit better if you do stand4 instead of f12 right before the 2nd call to Sareena. It scales better and other chars have similar things, at least with Sareena, where doing the same strings scales the combo worse. I know when using Liu Kang its always better to do something like f43, Sarenna, 33, Sareena instead of f43 again.
