  • BSK 664 was in my electic collection from June 1994 to September 1999 and was much enjoyed. In the gallery image from that time it is in front of my 1930 Model A Tudor and 1918 Jones Speedster Six just about to lead off in convoy for an SSVVVC annual Open Run driven by Colin, owner of the red Scimitar. Great to see it presented at Biggar in very nice shape. Better than on my watch! This was imported by Marjon Motors Limited (Husband and wife team Anthony and Glennise Stephenson of Darlington) from Denver Colorado in 1991. They were very adept at finding and importing these from the high dry states of the USA. Sold by them to George Thurlby, Derby, who then sold to me. Hoping someone in the Denver area may recognise this car. I am told the upper body colour was originally Chevrolet Grecian Gold Metallic but that was changed to black sometime before it left the USA. It is all stock with the 265 motor and Powerglide two speed tranny. No brake booster or power assist steering. Still got the period radio.
