- Dagan checks out the stunning Epiphone 1963 Firebird I! Epiphone and Gibson Custom have teamed up again to create the Inspired by Gibson Custom 1963 Firebird I - an authentic replica of the guitar designed by legendary automotive designer Ray Dietrich. When it was launched in 1963, the Firebird was Gibson’s first neck-through-body model, and it went on to be used by players in a wide range of genres, including blues legend Johnny Winter, Keith Richards and Brian Jones of The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, and Phil Manzanera of Roxy Music, to name a few!

The Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom 1963 Firebird I delivers vintage Firebird specifications at an accessible price, including a 9-ply neck-through-body made of mahogany and walnut with mahogany body wings to either side. Kluson planetary geared “banjo” tuners anchor the strings at the headstock, while a Wraparound Lightning Bar bridge holds things down at the other end and ensures exceptional sustain. While in keeping with the vintage 1963 Firebird I’s stripped-down specifications, the electronics are also premium and include a Gibson USA Firebird mini humbucker pickup with Alnico 5 magnets, CTS potentiometers, a Mallory capacitor, and a Switchcraft 1/4” output jack, giving this remarkable recreation not only the look but the sound of a classic Firebird I. An Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom hardshell case is also included!

Excellent epiphone i have the new epiphone Sg les Paul on order can't wait to get it
The fret board looks really good on this model. They hook you up proper for the demo. I agree one of the best headstocks ever.
Cool
They released a Thunderbird that is the same color. Love these releases, especially the tuners.
Is a really good Guitar! I love it
It's AWESOME! 🔥
I always think of Southern Rock when I see one in Tobacco Sunburst. I like the green the best, just wish it was greener like Kelly or Neon. Epiphone should do a Prophecy version of it with a single humbucker made by fishman fluence.
Allen Collins all the way!
@@kaiserthegreat Never knew the guys name before, Allen Commins is one person that had to question the whole "lucky to be alive" thing.
That is an amazing guitar. Dagan makes it sound really cool. Shame about the price though ... 😮
Great guitars but the price is absolutely ridiculous 🙄😒
Ikr thats why idc ive started buying H-B and firefly brands
Only ridiculous to the ones who can't afford them I have Three 2021 high end Epiphones and wouldn't have it any other way epiphone was never meant to be a budget brand in the first place

If the price tag is too expensive for you, then you have bigger problems to worry about.
@@fisterroboto1044 just stop dude epiphone is 70% crafted by hand just like there little brother Gibson if you would have researched first instead of speculating Assuming and lying you would have known this
I see Gibson price rises on the horizon 😢😮
£1,350-ish
Nah.
Twangy goodness on those clean tones. Any country guys use a Firebird?
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Man, the new Epiphones that just got announced today REALLY show how overpriced this thing is 🤣
Only to the ones who can't afford them
Mate a guitar will last you at least 20 years and these guitar have Gibson pickups and are as close to the gibson’s as you can get without being crazy money, if you can’t afford it that’s fine they just aren’t meant for you
@@jmdyt3626 Wow, a single $129 Gibson pickup! Compared to the custom buckers in the new IbG models FOR LITERALLY THE SAME PRICE, its overpriced.
Period.
edit: No wonder you enjoy getting ripped off, you buy Fifa packs! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
🇺🇸✌️😎🇬🇧 (🍺) 💜🎸🎶
No ty ceezar,i have the real thing
It's the real thing little man..
they should have put a stronger pickup in this model, now it sounds weak
Sounds great to me. Guess it depends what you want
Stripped down guitar for an over inflated price. No thanks. Unsustainable business model.
Paying this much for a Chinese made guitar is insane.
Again people epiphone was never meant to be a budget brand in the first place and In 2019/2020 JC Curliegh Restored Epiphone back to where they needed to be all your complaining isn't going to change a thing you're not getting a high end Epiphones of any kind for a budget price those days are long gone..
Exactly if you want a cheap Gibson they still have so many options at cheaper prices, but if you want something that is close to the Gibson specs but a lot cheaper this is for those people
